"I've Got Some Work To Do" is a song about overcoming attachment and attaining a state of harmony. It interweaves a woodwind quartet, upright bass, congas, guitar, and piano to paint a picture of sound and feeling. It is the first single released from my new record, "Bird's-Eye View".

I've Got Some Work To Do

This is a Remix // Alternate Version for the main recording of my song "I've Got Some Work To Do". The remix features a more stripped down style and shift in feel, employing one of my favourite guitar patterns from Brazil. This way of playing is commonly used, though not limited to, the music of medicine communities in Brazil and around the world. In ceremonial settings, this style of guitar playing aims to provide a sense of grounding due to its centered and consistent delivery.

I've Got Some Work To Do [Remix]

This song emerged from my own existential ponderings and came to life through the narrative of a sunflower. It's a simple tune that reflects on one's dreams and our place in the world.

I wrote it with the idea that our world may not be as mundane as it appears; for all of those who sense a deeper reality beyond the surface. I also wrote it in light of this belief being met with reductionist notion.

It's one of my favs. I hope you enjoy it! This is the second single release from my new record, "Bird's-Eye View".

I originally wrote this song for grounding purposes. It centres on three principles: truth, love, and the Earth. It's something that I would play to evoke a sense a calmness in me.

It features a thoughtful string quartet arrangement crafted by Scott Peterson; performed by the Ton Beau String Quartet.

Grounding Song

This is a song of prophecy. I wrote it immediately after meeting my soon-to-be partner, in a delightful state of yearning, and it all came true! It’s the essence of our coming-together; our love song.

This song is a reverie of the unseen wonders that surround us. I wrote it while reflecting on the magic and gratitude found in embracing the unknown.

This song was inspired by a daydream I had about birds. To me, birds are true masters of song, and in my dream, I spent the summer creating music and learning from them. This piece paints a little picture of that dream.
