When I saw the original post that mentioned this AU's version of Oh It's You would be a variant of Peace and Tranquility, I knew right away that I was going to at least *see* if mashing the two together would work. Lo and behold, they somehow wound up meshing brilliantly, so I worked from there! (Also Oh It’s You practically IS Snatcher’s theme, so ey two birds with one stone! XD)
This was a ton of fun to figure out btw! Rly proud of how I managed to fuse elements both tracks in here while putting my own spin on the whole thing. I hope you guys enjoy! :D

This track directly replaces "The Badge Seller" from canon and fulfills the same function, being what plays as you shop for badges and whatnot from Luka. 

I took elements from The Badge Seller, Wrath of the Horizon and a tiny bit of Subcon Forest's melody, then really messed with them so they'd match the chords and key of Time Rift Storybook.
This may not have been AS intense of an experiment as The Pin Drops (https://soundcloud.com/mysteryman_17/the-prince-do-be-upsetti-tho,) but I'm still incredibly proud of how this turned out. Hope you guys enjoy!

This track plays during the Act 5 boss fight with Vanessa. For all intents and purposes, this replaces "Toilet of Doom" from canon, but only by technicality.

This was a **huge pain** to figure out, which certainly wasn't helped by me ACCIDENTALLY changing A Forsaken Place into 3/4 time... Yes, I badly miscalculated the time signature when I was getting the tempo matched in my project file, and wound up transcribing this into 3/4 *by mistake* X'D
All the same though, I'm incredibly happy with how this turned out. It was a fun challenge turning this track into a boss theme, and the time signature goof wound up being a bit of a *happy* accident :hueh:

(UPDATE 7/19/2023: Pitched this down, changed the percussion and adjusted some stuff. Also experimented with trying to EQ this thing to make it sound close-ish to the S5 dubbing tracks that were discovered ages ago. Prolly failed royally in that department, but hey it still sounds good!

Like with a lot of my covers, I transcribed the base version first. The pitch bends on the lead were a PAIN IN THE NECK to recreate in Mixcraft, but I managed to get them sounding decent enough.
Fleshing it out was a fairly simple, yet rewarding experience! For those of you who might not already know, I've been a fan of Thomas The Tank Engine since I was a little kid. And when I saw this post from The Caledonian Engines (https://twitter.com/RealCaledonian/status/1442612689797189632,) I just couldn't resist the motivation, no matter how dumb of a reason it was hueh. So I wound up turning this into something reminiscent of a music piece from season 6 or 7 of that show.

As you can likely figure from these track names, the goal was to set a particular mood with each one. This was definitely a VERY interesting experiment for me, doing all of these distinctly different tracks while also standardizing them to one tempo and time signature. Had a ton of ideas while I was doing these (though the influences are obvious, to say the least,) and I'm incredibly happy with how these all turned out. Hope you guys enjoy!

I originally intended for this to be in the style of S6-7 of Thomas The Tank Engine again, like with Dialtone, but I quickly realized that wouldn't work due to the lack of percussion (since percussion is such a key part and this track would've just felt empty in comparison to the original without it.) So I used some RX-5 samples for the beat, and let myself go wild from there; rly damn happy with the piano part I added in particular. (And ye, I did the funni Spamton vocals here as well lol.)

At long last, here's the finale to the Spamton quadrilogy months in the making! I'll admit tho: I did this part of things in just past the few days. Found out I was positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, and aside from feeling like garbage, this is part of what I've been doing to kill time lmao. Things were pretty crazy to figure out in several places, especially the mixing (and relatedly, getting a good balance between master volume and master limiter adjustments to get the sound I wanted.)
While this obviously doesn't have the same Thomas-y vibe as my other Spamton tracks, I set myself the challenge of using ONLY instruments from libraries related to that show. And aside from the piano, I more or less succeeded! I used patches from the Proteus 1 + 2 + 2000, E-MU Emulator II, Yamaha RX-5 and Virtuoso. 
Thanks to Wabble (https://soundcloud.com/wabble-deen) for their feedback during the development of this cover, it rly helped shape things for the better! Also BIG shoutout to Adamant and their "How to Recreate BIG SHOT" series (https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLbmwdKG1lFwGXQ5xqLosFpspxieovS_wG.) I used it as a reference for multiple difficult things that were tripping me up, and this cover just wouldn't be anywhere **near** as good without this resource's existence.

So ye, version 2 of this bad boi! Little King John has already posted the official superboss battle track for Rosey (https://soundcloud.com/kwon-cena/deltarune-chapter-3-ust-soul-mate,) so my goal with the update for my track was to make it fit as a hypothetical Weird Route/Tombflame Route track. Chief among those adjustments was the addition of two new sections!
The bit with THE WORLD REVOLVING went through a few revisions where I just slapped it on top of other sections of the track, before I realized that every single attempt at that sucked ass and just gave the motif its own section instead lmao. I actually wound up taking inspiration from @jjaym15's Deltaswap BIG SHOT (https://soundcloud.com/jjaym15/chaos) in regards to some of the modifications I made to the motif.
The Dummy! section was just me going "Eh, let's do Dummy² with the piano bit lol." Was trying it just for shits and giggles, but it actually wound up working it really nicely as a new transition section, so I kept it in! Also in a nod to LKJ's official Rosey track, I worked a couple instruments from Hopes and Dreams into mine.
And ye, my thought process behind the original version + this update was that this concept mirrors Spamton in a fair few ways, so what if I (for lack of a better term) gave Mad Mew Mew/Spider Dance the BIG SHOT treatment? It was a really fun experiment trying to pin down Toby's general stylings for this, especially in the instrumentation department!

Firstly, yup. I have Next PRO for now. Not sure how long it's gonna stay that way, but eh. For this track especially, I really did NOT want to have to start all over from scratch upload-wise. 

Anyhow, as you all might know if you've been following @cynthcat (which if you haven't gO DO THAT NOW MAN,) I've been working with her to make mixes of the Spamelle tracks that are moreso catered to her Holiday Specil AU's lore and character decisions. In the course of prepping all the tracks for that, I looked at this one in particular and went "Y'know what... I don't like how I basically fuckin ripped off RED HOT and !!! for certain sections last time, Imma give em some heavy tweaks." So on top of some other adjustments across the board, that's EXACTLY what I did. I am *much* happier with this new version as a result, and it's a better fit for my AU too. Was a lot of fun making the changes I did, and Cynthcat did a *great* job on the new "hook" and secret lyrics vocals. Hope you all enjoy! :)

Swatch technically takes Berdly's role. With Berdly being the only Lightner available to make Queen's plans happen, Swatch has been temporarily pulled from the mansion and made his bodyguard. They both get along well enough, and Swatch is somehow even able to keep Berdly's ego somewhat in check while they're together (totally has nothing to do with actually being bit of a proper father figure for the blubird, no sirree!) But while they dutifully fulfill their task of guarding Berdly without fuss, Swatch can also be a bit of a perfectionist and dislikes being away from their normal work, dreading the thought of returning to the mansion being in total disarray.

Just a quick lil disclaimer. This is less of a *total* replacement for the original Berdly theme, as I imagine that would still be used in the game, but moreso a second variant that WOULD take priority in moments where Swatch appears (with or without Berdly.)

Anyhow, this was a REALLY nice experiment to try out. Hip Shop and Berdly are actually *really* close to each other in terms of tempo (and have the same key,) and it was satisfying figuring out how to successfully get the former into the time signature of the latter, so the mashup had its best chance of working! Also I dunno if it shows up all that well in here, but I also tried to include some instruments from Queen-related tracks in here, tying back to how unwaveringly loyal Swatch is in serving Their Lady Grace (irrespective of personal grievances they tend to keep to themselves.)

So ye, finally got around to doing another track for the reindeer herself that's *not* the BIG SHOT! Even outside of the context of my concept tho, I'm *genuinely shocked* that absolutely no one has tried to do this or a Dialtone (the latter of which I also intend to correct) for Spamelle/even just Noelle before, considering every other base for her is covered at LEAST twice over! Search it up on SC if u don't believe me lol. 
Pinning down the general sound of HEY EVERY !/A Real Boy was a royal pain in the ass, but I'm incredibly happy with how this turned out. Putting Lost Girl into this style was a nice challenge!
Don't have much else to add about the track, so I'll take a quick chance to say: I've been having more ideas for specific scenes in the AU like the one attached to this post, so depending on how many more I have, I may very well compile them + the general premise doc into one AO3 post. So keep your eyes peeled!

So ye, I've done exactly what I said I would in A Real Girl's description: there is now a (second) Dialtone replacement for Spamelle here on SoundCloud! This was initially going to BE the first one, but there was **no fuckin way** I was gonna post a Spamta Claus track with yet ANOTHER unfitting public Spamelle design, so it was worth holding this back for the awesome thumbnail art + AU-specific Spamelle design! Someone beat me to the punch (https://soundcloud.com/adrjj/jingle) during the thumbnail's creation timeline, and I'm honestly kinda happy about that. It's low-key tiring/frustrating at times being the only one to even *think* of trying to fill certain musical gaps with my limited skill, whether it's UT/DR or AHIT, so I'm glad SOMEONE else had a similar thought for once!
Anyhow, back on topic. I decided to take a cue from a track that already inspired me before, and base this Dialtone on a holiday carol. And considering how well the time signature lined up already, Silent Night was just an obvious perfect fit for me. On top of that tho, I also included a tiny bit of the original Dialtone melody at the very end of the piano's melody, and modified Lost Girl into the french horn part in the second half. Speaking of which, yeah! I actually decided to go for a more orchestral style in the second half (all while keeping the same phone ringing and dinky toy-like piano underpinning it all.) I figured it would help both bring a somewhat unique flair to this, as well as (hopefully) aid the intended underlying melancholy in this arrangement.
All in all, p damn happy with how this turned out, and I hope you guys enjoy!

So uhhhhh yeah, first time in ages that I've even tried to touch this franchise musically! XD
Some of you longer-time peeps might remember that I did some shitty MIDI edits of Crash Twinsanity tracks back in "the day," as it were. Well, I finally got the motivation to try again when (like fucking always now) I got the spark out of absolutely nowhere, on top of realizing that there were pretty much *zero* "proper" covers of this track out in the wild.
This is likely the last thing I'm gonna post for a lil while, as I'm finally gonna be building my new comp and getting that process started tomorrow, but uhhhhh yeah. Pretty proud of how this turned out, especially considering the complexity of some of the shit I had to pick out/transcribe lmao. Hope you guys enjoy!

Story: Boyfriend rummages through Snatcher's things in his tree. The Subcon Minions notice and quickly try to get him to leave, figuring Snatcher will be mad. (He is, but not enough to actively hunt down a nuisance that's already leaving.) BF is walking out of Subcon Forest as heard in the very start of the song, the old stuff he rummaged through still fresh in his mind as he takes in the once-beautiful scenery. But all of a sudden (at 0:31 in the track,) he trips one of the forest's many traps and is dragged into Snatcher's contract-signing dimension. Snatcher pops up excitedly, looking forward to tormenting someone with the prospect of menial labor (followed by death!) ...But then he sees that it's BF *again,* and is basically like "bruh..." But hey, a soul's a soul, so he's just gonna get this over with. Or so he thinks.

So... yup, as you can tell by either this or the main song post, I've given this track (especially the chromatic) some MAJOR finetuning!!
Given my new computer is in a functional state, I've been able to use some new things I've gotten (including the Kontakt Library Factory 2 that I've gotten with an *actually* legit copy of Kontakt 7!) This made working with ProjectSAM Swing a bit of a pain -- for obvious reasons, but I was able to work around the demo limitations well enough lol.
Also can I just say: MusicBook is FUCKING AWESOME. The dobro and banjo I implemented here are *both* from there, and were free!!! In addition to those, I decided to make use of a royalty free drum loop that I got via a Humble Bundle, and also replaced the synth strings with a preset from the Mercury-6 VST from Cherry Audio.

Soooooo... this project was originally going to be a LOT different! I initially was just going to do a "with lyrics" kind of cover of the original, and one chunk of the lyrics I wrote for that actually made it in here as part of the secret lyrics! But as I was listening to the track more to come up with lyrics (a lot of which were kinda jank hence why I scrapped them,) that evolved into a desire to outright cover the track in its entirety from the ground up.
This was VERY difficult to transcribe -- and even pick out instruments for -- in a fair few key regards, but the effort was well worth it. I'm admittedly not *completely* satisfied with the percussion, but I managed to get it in a fine enough state by the end of this whole process. Pitched my cover down a couple semitones from the original, and even added a new section here! While I really adore the original track (to the point of listening to it to an EXCESSIVE degree,) I feel like one *slight* missed opportunity was the complete ommission of the second half of Dirk's motif, so I used it as a base to merge with ULTIMATE HEIST's stylings and create the new part (while taking similar creative liberties as to what Emihead did with the first half of Dirk's motif.)
The lyrics for the vocals around about 1:44 - 1:52 were adapted and truncated from Khamydrian's well-known lyrical adpatation of Mad Dummy (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gX03KZsoHn0.) The section in particular that I used was VERY MUCH on the brain as being fitting for Dirk, albeit in a FAR different way than they were for Mad Dummy. (So for lack of a better way of putting it, I pulled a fucking Spamton lmaoooo.) And ye, I did ALL of the vocals here.
But yeah, I think that's about all I wanted to talk about. Was incredibly satisfying putting this together over the past week (has especially helped the tail end of my leave of absence from work fly by,) and I hope you all enjoy! :)

I HAVE ONCE AGAIN `arranged a track based on a fanmade secret boss`. WHAT IS IT WITH SECRET BOSS TRACKS AND GOING SO DAMN HARD X'D
Ok but for real, this one was a LOT of fun to arrange as a whole. I had a blank project file sitting on my computer since December, knowing I wanted to cover this but not being able to muster up the motivation to start. The second I did though, I went at this with guns blazing -- so much so, I finished this in about a week!
In spite of its rougher qualities, the original track easily spoke to me the *most* out of p much all the "Woody theory" tracks so far, so I gave this all that I had. Incorporated more Flowey elements (and especially leaned heavily into Your Best Nightmare,) beefed up the low end, changed up the chord progression in the second half and changed the final section's lead out for another "Finale" trumpet line. And while it defo sounds a bit different from even the original FRIEND INSIDE ME, sentence mixing You've Got a Friend in Me was still p fun (as is sentence mixing in general, rly wish YTP ideas came to me more easily lmao.)
Pretty much the *only* thing I'm iffy on is the square bit at the very end, but I'm EXTREMELY happy with this track otherwise. Hope you guys enjoy! :)

So! I shared a WIP version of this on Twitter about a week ago, but for most of you, this is most likely a **very** big shock. I'm admittedly not sure why the inspiration for this struck me either, as I'd sworn off ever covering a track from you-know-who after everything happened. Almost exactly three weeks ago however, I suddenly had an epiphany: what if I did an arrangement based *solely* on the original concepts? I guess you could say I wanted to *rewrite* this track's fate.
Anyhow, I pretty much immediately got to work after that, gathering reference materials and starting the transcription. Having the "piano draft" MIDI was helpful for a fair few things, but not ALL. Case and point: the very opening section. In comparison to Winter's draft, Saster's initial concept -- consisting of p much ONLY the first section (and the backing for a theoretical second section) -- was a VERY fucky beast to transcribe properly leadwise.
For the "bridge" section between Dummy! and the Freedom motif, I originally wanted to more noticeably adapt Winter's "Analog" motif -- mirroring the actual WORLD REVOLVING -> Dialtone stylization from Deltarune proper, tho in reverse here -- but it sounded VERY awkward. Modification after modification led to something that, while not very indicative of its roots, sounds very nice. So in other words, I failed successfully lmaoooo.
I also decided to do the *tiniest* bit of trolling with the last section. The Freedom motif is still the dominant leading force in the final section, ala the originally intended Don't Forget <-> Freedom motif direct swap... But I also transcribed a couple snippets from The Legend and snuck em into the background as secondary motifs and used it to help form the last two chords of the entire track, as a cheeky nod to the "triangle swap" method with said track included. ;)
The drumline was the last thing I did and... if I'm being honest? Easily the weakest aspect here, I've never been the best at doing drumlines. At the very least it's just "eh" here tho lol. (Also I tried to implement the amen break styled drums Saster did in his "Don't Forget" section concept, but I just could NOT make em sound even *decent* to save my ass, so I replaced the transcription.)
So uhhhh yeah, with all that being said, this was ultimately a lot of fun to put together. Hope you all enjoy! :)

...Haven't made a post like this on this site since my "invisiblemario17" days, huh?
Well, this one has admittedly been a long time coming, but a recent post I saw shared into my feed here finally convinced me to make this push. I'm not going to repeat what I say again, so I'm hoping to make this count.

(ahem)

STOP USING GENERATIVE AI FOR YOUR SHIT. DON'T CARE IF IT'S "JUST A MEME." JESUS FUCKING **CHRIST** GUYS.
Literally all you guys are doing is further accelerating the damage done to our environment, creating concerns about whether your own stuff can ever be trusted to be "truly" yours again and training the AI that is currently being used as an excuse to take away people's jobs *right now.* And covering stuff "made" by AI only further "legitimizes" its use as far as other people are concerned. 
Hell, even if all the other stuff didn't exist? Generative "AI" would **still** be a flaming sack of shit due to it stealing from artists and musicians alike with no credit or compensation, *especially* smaller creators like you and me. Though honestly? Considering a lot of you peeps that are doing this have been making music on this platform for years, *y'all should fuckin know better already.*
I've already unfollowed so many people that I used to respect, people that thought throwing away their credibility for the sake of using AI to make the worst meme songs ever (among other things) was a good idea. And that list will likely continue to grow unfortunately. I'm genuinely furious with so many of you, and disappointed that your acclaim among the rest of us was apparently chopped liver to you.
This is the one and only time I will say this; there won't *be* a "next time" if your AI garbage gets put into my feed again.

I started this on my own, but ran into a fair few walls that my normal methods couldn't get around. So the bones of this cover are a mish-mash of what I *was* able to transcribe before getting stuck and bits of Toadie's original, plus some further tweaks/additions on my part.
