Nebulous Omens

This nameless song explores the boundaries of spatial sound with eight layers of acoustic-electric guitar, spiraling around the listener in a full-circle auditory field: W-NW-N-NE-E-SE-S-SW.

Performed on a Fender Acoustasonic and routed through a BOSS delay with finite echo, each layer captures a moment in time, unfolding across the stereo spectrum to immerse the listener in the auditory experience.

Inspired by my earlier piece, Voyage of the Leaf Upon the Sea, this track continues my exploration of time, space, and resonance.

Headphones highly recommended for full spatial immersion.

The Hazardous Disembarkation

Quick Response Mountains is an experimental soundscape built live using a BOSS RC-505mkII Loop Station and the Korg TR Workstation. The layered loops and synth textures evoke a slow ascent through a landscape both organic and encoded. The album art—black and white mountains behind three geometric squares—originates from a machine-learning transformation of a QR code, created via Snowpixel using a YouTube link from one of my earlier tracks.

This piece explores the intersection of machine vision, code-as-art, and musical improvisation.

Reinforcing Spirals

Trekking Inward continues the thematic journey that began with Voyage of the Leaf Upon the Sea, Hazardous Disembarkation, and Lightfall—but turns its focus inward. Built around a single guitar voice and a two-second infinite echo, each note lingers just long enough to become part of the landscape before slowly dissolving into silence. The piece drifts from quiet reflection to harmonic exploration, then resolves in a playful closing motif—like finding a moment of lightheartedness at the end of a long inward trek.
