This track sat on my hard drive for over two years. I kept skipping over it, not really sure if it was finished or if I was ready to share it. Coming back to it now, I realize it captured something I couldn’t fully express at the time.
The lyrics are simple but honest. I didn’t want to over-explain anything, just let the feeling sit. The verses are about realizing the truth too late, and the chorus isn’t even words. It’s just the sound of what that feels like.
The drop is a release. That moment when you stop holding it all in. Every section is built to carry that shift without needing to explain it.
This is what it sounds like when something breaks and you finally stop pretending it didn’t.
