Simultaneously wildly experimental and loyal to the unique sound he's crafting, Denver-based Cereus is locked into an uncompromising quest to fuse organic, downtempo, melodic, tribal techno, and deep sounds into something new. His debut EP, Night Blooming, dropped on @suprematic last year, and we now look forward to his followup EP coming soon on the excellent downtempo label @baikalnomads. Here on the 6th Episode of Moonlight Mixtapes, he takes us on a tribal, often psychedelic organic house journey anchored by beats that simply stick with you.

In his free time, he creates/composes music, and just recently, he started creating his own DJ mixes, showing great natural vision and skill. He has diverse tastes in music, such as Hip Hop, Soul, Techno, Deep house, but lately he has fallen in love with the Organic/Downtempo style.  He is looking forward in growing and finding new musical journeys in this genre as well as creating music and recording DJ sets.  Look out for his releases on Kosa Records, Orientaldeep, MONADA, Toulouse, Tibetania, and more.

As stated earlier, the moods and vision of Adeil are very dreamlike, deep in emotion, deep in soul, with a reverence of the sacred, as if finding the heart of divine energies of creation, in the state of perfect unity of the soul in peace with all that is good.  The dreamlike moods of this journey, and the deeper grooves, and mystical spirit that we travel with here are vast and wash over us like the life giving waters of the ocean and waterfalls deep in the mountains.  There is a secret, mysterious feel to this space and the treasure hidden therein.  It is time to dive deep and encounter the heart of the dream, to drink in the moonlight, and contemplate the amazing mysteries of the celestial realms.

The storyteller should include mystical sounds throughout, from great ethno-organic, organic house, slowtech, psychill, psydub, psybient, ambient, downtempo, progressive, dubtech, melodic techno, and whatever else encapsulates the otherworldly found in this world. :)

Taking from the mission and success of the Primordial Grooves project, this will take us back to the beginning energies of mankind, thus "primordial" energy. A exploration of the heart and soul and mind and body to find what makes us connected since the very beginning of mankind. What do we share as human beings and various tribes? This energy empowers and also heals us to the core. It is the life force, so the mix will have that original life force and be share in the way of all stories of the ancient storytelling oral tradition, which make up true history that is passed down from generation to generation.  This brings us to our innermost sanctums of our hearts. This brings us to God!
