BCCO Premiere: O'Fella - Control Zone [OFREC003]

A little more than 2 years ago, labelhead honchos Paul & Dave released their “Nobody is Anywhere EP” on their own imprint Dynamic Reflection. It was a statement about the status quo in the techno scene back then, where many artists didn’t know which way to go. Ironically enough, the contrary is very true as we speak.  

 The “Anybody is Nowhere EP” responds to their previous work and reflects the uncomfortable time we are currently living in, driven by uncertainty. Even though these are not the happiest thoughts, the track titles show that there is hope left. “Emergence” is a very seductive but psychedelic trip towards “Discharge”, which feels like Abstract Division discharges themselves completely. The last track, “Polarise” points out the current divided society, which sets some doubtful thoughts about the future.  

Scandinavian rebel and Northern Electronics patron Anthony Linell provides his interpretation of the track “Emergence” and delivers a distinctive remix as only he can.

The second release in Hypnosis Multiplex recs is pieced by Dario Sosa. Deep and atmospheric techno, combined with hefty rolling bass, that seeks to take its listener on a trance-like voyage to those fleeting moments of euphoria. Originating from the Argentina Since the late '90s, Dario Sosa started his journey in music with a piano and drums, playing classical music and rock of his country. We are excited to present the premiere of Essentia's remix of A Thousand Details' original "Vhostok". Essentia has demonstrated his groove with a compelling kick rhythm, extracting fine details to form an ever-evolving, sinister dance floor workout. 

After Collective Details' first successful two-part VA, the journey continues with this second installment.
For this iteration of the monthly Discord Server challenge, the community was asked to pick one of two A Thousand Details' tracks to remix.
Temudo, Robin Kampschoer, and Stndrd, three dear friends of A Thousand Details, had the challenging task of selecting the best five tracks out of an insanely high-quality pool of submissions. This is the result: cutting edge, sharp, smart techno bangers.
