After corporations asked the United States to hold more tough-on-crime policies, calling it a war on crime. 

4,000 companies profit from prison cells being full and have called for stricter rules and punishment. Leading to more money for private corporations that own prisons.

United States alone spends 3 point 9 billion dollars yearly to operate for profit prisons owned by private corporations

Prisons were not built to house and rehabilitate criminals, it was made to make profit to fund war and other agendas.

The three strikes law was started in California, and since its conception has changed the law across the Nation. 

So why is it that we are releasing people from prison that have habitually broken these serious laws back into society?

Like the guy who was released from prison and then went and stabbed some lady on the train. 

He had more than 30 crimes under his belt most of which I understand were violent.

They put drugs on our streets but, if you do them you're criminal.

They told us all of these things were wrong yet, they do them and we are the only ones that get in trouble for it. 

How does that make sense?
