The cunning interweaving of ethnic and breakbeat with electro became his master's trick long before it became some kind of a mainstream, but, obviously - he do it better than anyone else. Only check out his records on the Day by day label, and the remix of the track «Zroby Sebe Sam» by Lostlojic. Incredible melodies, mysticism, and super powerful break drums - a real work of art! Music has been my way of coping with social anxiety for as long as I can remember. I realized early on that I could drive a conversation by asking what someone listened to. No matter what their answer was, I could find enough common ground to break the ice and fuel a conversation. 

When I started making music, I think it was a continuation of the same thing. In high school, I would spend my weekends alone in a dark room learning what an oscillator is or what compression does - unless I was at my drummer's house writing rock music with my band. 

Music was there for me when I felt most alone, and it's also been there when I've felt most fulfilled. Through the highs and the lows I've felt an ever-present and unbreakable pull to music - something deeper than passion, closer to love... an Eternal Affinity

'From Then To Now' is a compilation of personal dance floor favorites from Memphis' MarceauxMarceaux. Many of these tracks were created in the height of the pandemic and never really found their way. From bass-heavy breaks of z72.52 to the pumping house and techno of DJ Judy, all these tracks deserve a time to shine, and that time is now.
