10 years on from the conception of Outtallectuals in the form of a Facebook community, we're delighted to still be here, finetuning the label's signature sound in a never-ending global creative soup.

Accordingly, 'Liminal Lore' celebrates OUTTA's first decade through a predictably collaborative roster, featuring the label regulars, as well as new contributors such as Bulgarian legends, Ivan Shopov and Theodossii Spassov, cinematic bass producer, Boketto, the deep ambient psychedelic dub techno duo of Arkaean and Unsung I, and POAN, Lo.Renzo's ambient side project with Giacomo Barbari.

The concept of 'Lore' is sonified through the 'old world' influences of the album; through the sounds of nature, bulbul tarang, banjo, g clarinet, darbuka, hang drum, sarangi, slide guitars, violins, flutes & tribal percussions. 'Liminality' is, of course, through the celebration of a shifting decade, an in-between milestone for the label.

Stepping into the kaleidoscopic realm of mid-tempo psychedelia, Israeli electronic producer Soru merges technical psytrance influences and groove-centric Western flavors in his debut EP, ‘Cracks.’

Laced with musical elements drawn across time and tempo, this high-spirited collection tickles the mind with its exhilarating blend of low-end rhythms and classic psychedelic progressions while exploring the more luminous sides of experimental bass music. Soru is the brainchild of Yair (Sol) Solomon. Jerusalem raised, Tel Aviv based, veteran of the global Psy Trance movement and first label DJ (aka Nomolos) for the Australian Zenon Records. Drawing inspiration from Rock 'n roll, 90s hip hop and underground electronic sounds as well as urban jungles, the great outdoors and altered states, the Soru experience encourages listeners to "Lay down all thoughts and surrender to the void. “Produced by the amazing Maor Hasbani @ GUMI studios, Soru brings a mind warping psychedelica ‘get down’ to a sound system near you!”

Coming from a background of both underground hip hop and electronic music scenes, Mystral’s Music and performance incorporates both aspects, and crosses the bridge between Psychedelic, Bass, and B-Boy flavors, able to create a wide variety of styles from Hip-Hop/Trap to more EDM styles like House and Breaks.
At work in his home studio learning music production and recording his Raps, his journey with music began in 2006. Native to Nor Cal and Southern Oregon, he collaborated with local talent and eventually joined Hip-Hop groups Digital Misfitz and P.O.N. as well as rapping with long time friend and electronic music producer Tyler Gibson of Birds of Paradise.
In 2013 Mystral had his first solo album signed to newly formed label Merkaba Music owned by 
Psybass pioneer Kalya Scintilla. His EP Afterglow was one of the first EP’s on Merkaba and featured a wide range spanning from Hip-Hop to early Psybass in a time when the genre was yet to be defined.
Since Mystral has release several EP’s on different labels. Mostly on Home label Merkaba and the Desert Dwellers label, Desert Trax. He has done remixes for some of the largest artists in the underground electronic music scene including Desert Dwellers, Kaya Project and More. he has also been a part of a large variety of compilations on labels all over the world including the U.K. Australia, Israel, Russia and the U.S.
As a performer He has played main stages at fesivals including Enchanted Forest, Lucidity, Kinnection Campout, Serenity Gathering, Cosmic Convergence in Guatemala and mony more! he has shared the stage with some of the biggest names in Underground Electronic and well as flown around the country from LA to Seattle from Baltimore to Salt Lake City and more.
