Born in Ireland, musically raised in Berlin; Gavs is navigating his life through the ebb and flow of deep rhythmic basslines of all styles here in Australia.

Growing up in the free party scene in the southwest of Ireland, he was exposed to various styles of music, such as psytrance, house, techno and drum&bass.

Moving to Berlin in 2019, his passion for understanding and playing music developed, sharing and learning from some of the most innovative and exciting artists that are in the Berlin underground scene right now, specifically his brothers @juan&only, @Jamiesugrue, & Tresor residents @Scheissmukke.

Since 2023, he recognized this passion project needed time, space & humility to develop, after all of what he had seen, learned and experienced in Ireland & Germany.

Now, after having played shows in Germany, Thailand, Ireland's biggest music festival, in the bush & now here in Perth, he is ready to continue sharing his vision, his interpretation of what all of this means to him.

Genre doesn't matter; it's the music that matters.

This set was recorded live at Nevedya on Sunday 27 April 2025, was playing from 4pm until close at 7pm. A part of me didn't want to play, I was tired and had a depleted social battery, from a weekend of socialising and jamming. It was a very intimate gig, with just a few locals on this particular Sunday gathering. I took the crowd on a journey starting with psychill and worked my way up to dark prog going into twilight/psytrance, finishing with some experimental DnB produced by my good friend Mahem @user-8590680 . The event will hold a special place in my heart as my two year old son was in attendance, and was having a good stomp to the music I was playing as well as insisting on seeing what I was doing behind the decks :)

Meet Mihow: a Polish born, Australien raised sonic alchemist whose journey has spanned the vibrant cities of Melbourne, Amsterdam, and Kuala Lumpur. He has refined a unique taste for down-tempo psychedelic grooves, enriched with cross-cultural, mystical, and esoteric elements.
