This is a VERY special track I made while I was in Alto Paraíso de Goiás (Brazil). A very special place with very special people... Most of the sounds were recorded there. 
Yawanawá singings and messages by Carol Luz, Putanny (sampled) and Hushahu (sampled).

Production and Composition by João Alexandre (aka Marambá) using Ableton Live 9, Logic 9, a flute and a didgeridoo. =)

About the DRAWING:
If anyone knows who made this art please let me know! I couldnt find the author but Carol (the girl who I recorded the singings) has a tatoo that looks just like this drawing, and the image itself is in sync with the message of the song, so I would like to give the credits to the artist who made. I'm particularly proud of the Psychedelic/Progressive Rock breakdown of this track. I used some sampled loops and then added a Minimoog and additional synth fx.
Most of the sounds used in this track came from vintage analogue synths and effect units. Hence, the title, "Retroactive".

I just tried to translate it bud had to find out that it looses it’s awesomeness when I do it :/

I try to explain in my own words. It is about a boy who can remember the first thing he can remember in his life at all. His mother gave him a sparkler for new years eve. Everyone was on the streets with fireworks and it was loud because of all the explosions. But he was not afraid. He was just a part of this. He hold up his little sparkler and shake it like crazy. So intense as he possibly could or even stronger. And he was so small and the sparkler too. But he experienced the biggest and best there is on earth. He experienced the biggest and most beautiful on earth and he was a part of it. He never did anything in his life again that was so gigantic. 

I choose this vocal because I love the guy! His name isI was Frank Giering. He had such a special sad way of being which I could connect with easily. He is unfortunately dead. He died way to young.
