There are tracks I like. There are tracks I love and put in a private playlist of my favorites. Then, there are the tracks I find myself dancing to extremely dangerously. (Dangerous to anyone in arm's reach, that is.) This playlist is for THOSE tracks—tracks that pass this particular “vibe check,” you could say. Yes, there is a lot of DashingToadie on here. Alphys takes the role of Napstablook. Queen Toriel has worked her around the clock, and now she's fed up with her job. Her new assistant Undyne does a lot of the heavy lifting (in more ways than one), and now she just tries to hide from work however she can.

Mettaton keeps his role. He's back, and he's bigger and better than ever before! After the massive success of his airtime while Frisk was around, he's decided to up production value. It's an overwhelming amount of Mettaton, that's for sure. But is his glitzy new show now so powerful and expensive that it could devastate Hotland? Eh, who cares? Destruction is great for ratings!

For one of our first songs of the new year, why not give an update to one of the first Aftergore songs ever made? If I remember correctly, the concept of there being a Flowey Heartache called "Nightmare" might have been the thing to get Toadie into Aftergore in the first place. Been over a year and a half since then. I'd say we've come a long way.

Flowey takes the role of Toriel. After being spared by Frisk, he's been doing a lot of soul searching (no pun intended). He's hidden away in the Ruins, which is now overgrown with vegetation and fear. He might be turning over a new leaf (again, no pun intended), but it's hard to let go of the fearsome persona he has worked so hard to build. Could he ever truly qualify as a "caretaker?"
