Finding what Grows is an audio walk created by Lisa Myers that calls for remembering and learning from the garden originally planted by Mike MacDonald at Gage Park for the exhibition Zone 6b: Art in the Environment (2000). Guiding listeners around Gage Park, this audio walk invites us to consider the relationships and interconnection between land, humans, pollinators, and plants, always conscious of nearby extractive and refinement industries. Finding what Grows encourages collective remembering and learning from an Indigenous garden artwork.

The starting place for the walk is at the pollinator gardens located near the children's museum in Gage Park, Hamilton. There is a large anchor there that has been placed between the two perennial gardens. The audio walk is activated via a QR code that can be scanned using a smartphones.

This four-part podcasting series was developed for Eve Tuck's course: "Decolonization, Settler Colonialism and Anti-Blackness", but is intended to be used by anyone interested in starting their own podcast!
