Born Corey Barnard Jones, Ha$$an the God, is an American rapper from Mobile. Alabama. Ha$$an began rapping at the age of 9 years old being after being inspired by Big Daddy Kane, Rakim, KRS-One and LL Cool J. Ha$$an began to start writing rhymes and battling in school yard ciphers. At 14, Ha$$an would meet producer Walter “Esa” Jones, who would later be responsible for producing The Last Mr. Bigg (Trial Time), and joined his 40 Grand Productions imprint. Ha$$an began to hone his craft and his first demo landed in the hands of the late DJ Bull who had Ha$$an open up for The Luniz. Afterwards, openings for Mc Breed and Foxy Brown followed. 
In 1996, Ha$$an went on to join the US Army. With his hip-hop dreams on hold, he began to upgrade his craft rhyming against many MC’s he would meet during his time in the military performing in Kentucky, Tennessee, Korea and Spain.  In 2000, Ha$$an exited the military and with the knowledge of the business gained, helped form the label Hitthouse Enterprisez and was instrumental in the success of the label’s first release, St. Louis’ “Confessions of a Hustler”, through Nile Rodgers’ Sumthing Distribution. As director of marketing and promotions at Hitthouse Enterprisez, Ha$$an was responsible for locking in promotions with organizations such as the Mobile Bay Bears, Diplomat Records/Def Jam, SMK Tobacco and Hunid Racks Energy Drink.
They say to become successful: it takes a combination of 10% talent and 90% business. Having the talent covered, Ha$$an has been perfecting the business and with the formation of his label, Wingspan Urban Arts & Entertainment, he is prepared to further his mark on the industry with releases from himself as well as other artist. In 2007, Ha$$an scored a regional hit with “Chew It!” featuring the late King Size and Murda Mike, who also produced the track. Ha$$an then began to record with other artist such as R&B singer and saxophonist Multi for “Private Show” and Rich Boy (Interscope Records) for “Up and Down” among others. 
With lyrical originality and versatility that originates from the “Golden Era”, Ha$$an provides music that the listener of any age would enjoy with production that is music to anyone’s ears.
