A festival highlight, this rare b2b unites two of Asia's top underground selectors. Mr. Ho, Klasse Wrecks head and resident at 宀 club, delivers raw, bass-heavy energy with unpredictable twists, while Tokyo’s Wada Yosuke, a vinyl purist and founder of Cowboy Family label, crafts hypnotic, evolving narratives through intricate rhythms and shifting atmospheres. 

Together, they create a four-hour sonic journey, rich in tension, texture, and euphoric release—an experience that embodies the fearless spirit of underground sound.

Amelia says.
"I love hip hop. I have been digging a lot of it because I like the beats and it’s fun to blend with trip hop and downtempo tracks. I also work for a record collectors, who has an incredible hip hop collection and we spend a lot of time listening to all these records. Beyond the beats, rhythm & lyrics, hip hop has an important piece in the history of music and the city I live in. I am grateful it exists.

This mix was recorded in Texas, in my bed room early January during the holiday season."

Twice does not lead to a tradition - but it feels like playing for @swimsupply 🏊 . Whenever the community organisation focusing on lysergic sounds calls, I am more than happy to meet beloved Ellen, Mark Lando and Tesdorpf and to play for their fine events.

New unrealeased Mix series #7 : Summer 2025

Let’s go out with a bang for this last transmission of the season. As my services are requested elsewhere for this show, I have dug up a special treat. Recorded at exactly the same time last year @ Point FMR, this set from the Supercamp Off literally blew the roof offf. However, let’s say it was just a warm-up to something special that happened in the same place a few weeks ago, which will be shared with you soon. ED051, Second Contact’s DJ set, is inspired by the ethos of Fight Club and the idea of embracing personal liberation through self-destruction and chaos.    Influenced by both the film’s structure and tempo, the mix is framed by symmetry and the concept of bookending in filmmaking; a structural technique where the beginning and ending scenes reflect one another. The set starts strangely with a mundane sense of repetition and polished emptiness gradually evolving into unrestrained intensity before retreating back into itself.

ED051: Second Contact

End of the Republic uses the words of Abraham Lincoln to produce a dystopian view of the state of the republic.

The music was made using a Soma Enner, a granular synth and two tape decks running at different speeds. It was of course recorded live with the words dubbed afterwards.
