According to Protagoras’ myth, the gods entrusted the task of giving to humankind and all of the animals their proper capacities to Prometheus and Epimetheus. Having neglected to give the human race natural forms of self-protection, Prometheus later steals the art of making fire and the arts of Athena from the gods and gives them to men. For some time the human race lives in a state more chaotic than that of the brutes, who at least had the herd. In order to prevent their complete destruction, Zeus gives to humankind the political arts and the art of social engineering, allowing them to straighten the twisted and gnarled timber of humankind. 

When man made robots in his own image, he made them fully equipped with a greater capacity for self-preservation than humans possessed by nature. But the robots’ maker did not give them an art to protect themselves from their own impulses or from those of manipulative human beings. Robot 23 was thrust into the world unaware of what awaited him.

Please enjoy my latest offering in largely generative Jams. For the first four pieces i used many elements of condition and controlled randomness, trying to emulate a modular vibe without actually using a modular. And yes, i played my bass on the last track. 
And yes, maybe unrelated to this release, black lives matter just as much your or my live.  Racism is a cancer we need to cure once and for all in each and everyone of us.
