Tom Regnier (https://soundcloud.com/tom-r-gnier) posted some beautiful music recently called Summer Rain and he kindly agreed to let me try and put some words to it.  We had to concede defeat though - it just didn't work, something not right.

So I thought I'd make my own musical home for the lyrics I'd come up with; obviously, it could only have one title...

Oh - and it's another of my one take one mic wonders so enjoy the duff notes (I never did get the black art of editing and production - much easier this way!)

Tracing drops that stream and gather
Trickle down my window pane.

Twinkle glints from dripping trees
Reflecting myself back at me
And send the clouds a-swimming free

In kaleidoscopic frames,

People shake their feathers down

Drifting up to start again
As sunlight comes gate-crashing

A flush of life has been refreshed 
By heaven’s nectar rinsed and blessed
