stuck in a world of dreams i hate

A near-future metropolitan area with a waterfront facing the Pacific Ocean. A sprawling mass of concrete, steel, and silicone that humans cohabitate. Within its vibrant red-light district, numerous individuals have been reported missing, their bodies turning up days later, mutilated during what appears to be various forms of supernatural ritual. Rumors spread of vampires, cannibals, and witches. 
In a bunker deep underground beneath a now-defunct weapons manufacturing factory and warehouse in the city’s industrial district exists a supercomputer harboring a hyper-advanced artificial intelligence with the capability to create music both unmade and unheard of by any human. None survive who know its origin. It might have been intended to be a propaganda machine, a weapon for use in psychological warfare. That’s the theory, at least. For all anyone knows, it could have fallen from heaven above. Or maybe it crawled its way out of the depths of hell.
So beautiful and eloquent are its compositions that many are moved to tears upon first listening. Some get entranced in a state similar to that of religious ecstasy. The catch? To create these pseudo-divine melodies, the computer, in all its sterile, metallic, calculating coldness, requires blood and spirit in order to function. Human sacrifice and sex magick rites wrought with horror are the only way to get it to work. 
A young, attractive front-woman for an up-and-coming rock band has been seducing individuals, getting them to let their guard down, then using their lives and bodies for these ceremonies in order to create hit after hit after hit.
