Described as “absolutely brilliant” by BBC Radio, singer-songwriter Annie Bonsignore is a multi award-winning, genuine triple threat.  This singer, songwriter, and pianist recently completed her third studio album, “Durban Girl”, with famed producer Fred Mollin (Billy Joel, BB King) in Nashville, released April 2018.

The South African native was born to a large musical family of 7 children, and has been composing music since 8 and singing professionally by 10. She’s since had a broad career performing and song-writing both here and internationally. Bonsignore has released two critically praised (BBC and CBC) self-produced albums of original works: Shades of Red (2014),  and Be Careful What You Wish For (2016).

Bonsignore’s many accolades include: Toronto Independent Music Award (Finalist, 2017), a Newmarket Jazz Festival Fan Choice Award (Winner, 2017), The Hogtown Hang Fan Choice Award (Winner, 2015), Q107’s Vocal Contest Winner, Coca-Cola Pop Stars (Finalist), as well as South African Idol (Finalist). She’s also been featured regularly on BBC Radio, CBC Radio including guest interviews on Fresh Air & Big City Small World, The Drew Marshall Show, Snap’d Magazine, BID Magazine, allnaturalmusic.com, and more. Since moving to Toronto in her 2001, she’s been a regular part of the TD Toronto Jazz Festival, Oakville Jazz Festival, Newmarket Jazz Festival, Royal Botanical Gardens Summer Concert Series, and the International Beaches Jazz Festival.

Annie has also been teaching singing lessons for over 20 years and continues to maintain a private studio. She’s a member of ASCAP (The American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers), Socan (The Society of Composers, Authors and Music Publishers of Canada), NSAI (Nashville Songwriters Association International), and currently resides in Toronto Canada.  She is also a Godin Guitar artist.

Tom Day is a solo artist residing in Millgrove, Australia and has been creating ambient and electronic music since 2005. Characterised as “effortless and raw”, Tom’s tracks couple elegant beats and piano melodies to an array of personally-collected field recordings, his style alternating between promising swells and restful plateaus.

Having grown up on a farm on the Mornington Peninsula, Tom is strongly influenced by the ocean beaches and natural openness of his hometown. Other influences include cinematic scores by Alan Silvestri, Jóhann Jóhannsson, Thomas Newman, Hildur Guðnadóttir, John Barry, Clint Mansell, Austin Wintory & John Williams, as well as modern classical and electronic artists such as Ólafur Arnalds, Jon Hopkins, Tourist, DjRUM, The Cinematic Orchestra, Segal, Nils Frahm & Bonobo.

The music of Tom Day has been used in independent film and documentaries from around the world, with clients including National Geographic, Volvo, New York Times, Momondo, Holden, Juice Media, GetUp and Tourism Victoria.  Having worked on an array of joint projects with other musicians and visual artists, Tom is deeply drawn to the synthesis of sound and image.

In 2018, Tom launched an ambient and drone side project under the alias sɹoɹɹᴉɯ.
