I’ve taken this road less traveled. Damned if I do, damned if I don’t, oh well! What am I gonna do? When will I know my use? I know what I should like to say: Give up these dreams and kitsch music. The fear of the nowhere, it’s worse than the fear of the somewhere. 

I’m just not sure of what I’ll become; artist extraordinaire or dilettante. And now I’ve taken this road less traveled. Damned if I do, damned if I don’t, oh well! When did I become so torn looking at the world in the hope there’s more? I didn’t know it would be so hard to grow up and accept it’s the way things are. 

So now I’ve chosen what I’ve always wanted. (But) my soul feels starved, empty, and haunted. What am I gonna do? When will I know my use? These roads were made to subjugate the weak, to break me down and take away my dreams. And now I feel like a member of the club Eunuchs Anonymous. I couldn’t made the cut.

I’m just like Ben in The Graduate; people (have) been asking what I’ll do next. “Regarding my life that’s a little hard to say.” I went to school and I got a degree; economics and humanities. And you can take me off this stage but you’ll never take the stage out of me!

Twenty-something success just walked into work feeling proud of his life and weekend he conquered. Hot girlfriend, new car, and a job that pays; he’s never even held a single controversial thought in his life. He’s in on these waves, “EDM culture saves,” his morality ain’t ever going out of style. Vasectomized at thirty-five at the behest of his wife—bitch feminist wouldn’t take ‘no’ for an answer. [Battle cry]!

And Mae West got a pistol, and Neo gets a pill. And day in, day out life is a shill. And Fabio’s gracing magazines; he be selling butter, books, and protein. And LFO once said it best, “You look like a girl from Abercrombie & Fitch.”

And I ask what is sanity worth? My religion is slave morality but I’d rather be a slave to truth than to lies. But the world seems purple to me; it’s a pill. Praise be to God! But why is insanity His love?
