Atunement are an experimental electronic project that blends modern electronics with musique concrete. Their music features drone, ambient and noise elements and is an exploration of the boundaries between acoustic and electronic sounds. Improvisation and collaboration are key components of their creative process, resulting in a strong musical atunement.

Panos Couros is a sound designer, producer and composer specializing in experimental concrete / electronic techniques and natural sound recordings, he has created sound installations, multimedia performances and compositions for theatre, dance and festivals around the country. His immersive works include Omphalos for the Greek Festival of Sydney, a noise of worms at the Museum of Contemporary Art, Sydney, a rainforest soundscape for Sydney Festival and AmphiSonic for the World Science Festival in Brisbane.

Mx Robert Frost is a Wizard who lives in the Blue Mountains. They use noise music to demodulate cosmic messages from timeless beings in order to advance human consciousness. Robert enjoys playing synths in nature and spending time with cats.

Seating Plan were a Sydney synth based electronic duo active 2013-15. With a background mangling aged monosynths and primitive drum machines, Seating Plan began to provide sonic catering with their own unique electronic stew, displaying strong notes of analogue synthesis, seasoned with vocals, found sounds and homemade instruments. Humanoid Members Adrienne P and Rowan T, slaves to the rhythm of their mechanical overseers: Roland, Korg, Arturia, and Moog.

Parramatta Artists’ Studios (PAS) is the energetic home for creative production in Western Sydney. Our focus is on what happens in and around the studio space to develop critical artistic practice. We nurture ideas and experimentation. We support artists to take risks and share studio conversations and processes. We work to establish or build on peer and professional communities. We believe in empowering and equipping artists to build thriving and sustainable creative lives. 

We have supported hundreds of artists since opening in 2006 and have a growing community of alumni who are at the forefront of contemporary artistic practice in Australia. Through our supported studio facilities in Parramatta and Rydalmere we offer subsidised studio tenancy programs, career development programs, residency programs and community-connected programs.
