e O is the shared moniker of sibling artists eleu and Olson, whose debut self-titled album ‘e O’ arrives as a beautifully blurred portrait of two inner worlds colliding. Raised on parallel but distinct soundtracks, their collaboration captures the hazy overlap of childhood memory and present-day influence—filtered through a language all of their own.

The record shimmers at the edges of genre, folding together fragments of ambient pop, left-field R&B, experimental electronics, and traces of shoegaze. Olson’s production is built from gently layered textures that ricochet and swell, creating a sense of movement that feels both precise and ineffable, while eleu navigates the album with intimate, delicate vocals. It’s music that feels like stepping into a dream already in progress.

e O draws from a palette of softness and distortion, of digital haze and real-world textures, echoing those in-between hours where clarity and feeling drift in and out of focus. A work of intuition and subtle transformation, this is a debut that doesn't introduce itself loudly—but lingers long after.

Simply download the stems here or at https://soundcloud.com/n5md/sets/port-royal-theodor-w-adorno-remix-kit. After you've created your remix and uploaded it to your Soundcloud <a href="https://soundcloud.com/groups/igloo-magazine-port-royal-remix-contest">join the port-royal remix group</a> and share it to the group.

What do I win?

There will be two winners chosen. As a grand prize each will get their remix on the remix companion CD release along side bvdub, John Tejada, The Sight Below, Arovane + many more. The two winners will not only be included on the release but will receive 5 copies of the CD + an autographed copy of the limited edition Cyan double LP of Where Are You Now. 

Why can't I see my remix right away?

The group will be moderated. Remixes will be added upon review.

What are the rules?

By downloading a the stems (i.e. remix kit) you agree that the original files and your remix will become property of port-royal and n5MD. That you are in no way shape or form permitted to use the stems in hole or in part in your own music. Sharing, selling and/or posting the remixes or stems to any other place than SoundCloud in hole or in part is strictly prohibited. If you have used (musical) content or parts of (musical) content that is subject to copyright of third parties, which rights have not been legally obtained your remix will be removed and you will be disqualified. 

Who is eligible?

Everyone. However, artists and employees of the n5MD record label and artists under exclusive contract with a third party record label are not eligible.

With productions dating back to 1994, James Bernard has gained a cult following for his combination of atmospheric analog beats and modular synthesizers. His debut album, ‘Atmospherics’ is often heralded as a classic by the diggers who stumble across it, and James’ 'Unreleased Works' are a hidden gem of early 90’s electronica (if you’re lucky enough to own a copy on CDR of course). 

James has been busy experimenting and refining his modular setup over the years, to the extent that a full album of beautiful music, created live in one take on a sunny afternoon, comes to life once more here on ASIP. 

‘Atwater', was performed live during a 2018 'Modular On The Spot’ event, held in Los Angeles’ North Atwater Park. With his custom analog modular rig, a small set of speakers and a generator, James took the afternoon audience on a glistening tour of the beautiful sounds to emerge from a Moog Mother 32, custom built filters and various Eurorack modular sequencers, modules and effects. 

After hearing James' set, ASIP proposed presenting the music in permanent form for everyone who missed that special day. James initially took the chance to recreate the set and edit versions ready for a release, but after careful consideration, it was decided to release the raw unedited live version of his set (mastered by Rafael Anton Irisarri) forever cementing that special moment and irreplaceable emotion found in North Atwater Park that one afternoon.

The opening track for a brand-new EP from In The Branches and Quiet Sector, a new project spawned from In The Branches. Quiet Sector takes the spacey sounds of ITB into a more future sci-fi territory, with synths being the primary instrument rather than guitars.

All proceeds from this EP will be donated to non-profit organizations that are actively working to remove plastic and microplastics from the environment.
