₪ "Spiral Club Cuts is an EP made with the club in mind, but without formulas. These are tools I use in my sets, some created alongside Mexican producers, with rhythms of my world side. Maybe it sounds like some kind of bass music, pop, and mixed with sadness. Sometimes I feel like I don’t really know how to make club music — I just try to create something I’d be excited to play on a big sound system. It's a feeling," tells us Mensik.

₪ As well as with other Mensik's projects, you can hear this sentimental feeling you have after the party, after the festival. It's something cold, but also very dreamy. And living in Mexico City, and also touring and DJing across the world, Mensik is putting all his experiences into the music.

Beyond her artistic work, Ruiseñor is engaged in an ongoing research practice focused on music scenes, sound archives, and cultural genealogies connected to Latin American popular and sonic traditions - building bridges between critical inquiry and creative practice to amplify their past, present, and future resonance.
