ਬਲਿਹਾਰੀਕੁਦਰਤਿਵਸਿਆ ॥ 
ਤੇਰਾਅੰਤੁਨਜਾਈਲਖਿਆ ॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥

ਦੁਰਗਾ ਅਤੈ ਦਾਨਵੀ ਸੂਲ ਹੋਈਆਂ ਕੰਗਾ ॥
The forces of Durga and demons are piercing each other like sharp thorns.

ਵਾਛੜ ਘੱਤੀ ਸੂਰਿਆਂ ਵਿਚ ਖੇਤ ਖਤੰਗਾਂ ॥
The warriors showered arrows in the battlefield.

ਧੂਹਿ ਕ੍ਰਿਪਾਣਾ ਤਿੱਖੀਆਂ ਬਢ ਲਾਹਨਿ ਅੰਗਾਂ ॥
Pulling their sharp swords, they chop the limbs.

ਪਹਲਾ ਦਲਾਂ ਮਿਲੰਦਿਆਂ ਭੇੜੁ ਪਾਇਆ ਨਿਹੰਗਾਂ ॥੪੭॥
When the forces met, at first there was war with swords.47.


ਦੁਰਗਾ ਪਾਠ ਬਣਾਇਆ ਸਭੇ ਪਉੜੀਆਂ ॥
All the Pauris (stanza) of this DURGA PATH (The text about the exploits of Durga) have been composed

ਫੇਰ ਨ ਜੂਨੀ ਆਇਆ ਜਿਨ ਇਹ ਗਾਇਆ ॥੫੫॥
And that person who sings it, will not take birth again.55.
