Joey's musical interest was piqued and he started learning how to be a DJ, embarking on this musical adventure with his childhood friend, Saleh Amin.

Along the way, Joey had the opportunity to be the opening act for many talented and renowned DJs such as; Amir Javasoul, James Dean Brown, Sweely, Franky Greiner, Cab Drivers, Daylomar, Sam Bangura.
