FRONTIERS OF MIND - PART ONE

The track was made in three takes.
The first take was extracted from several sessions with an eurorack system with three oscillators going thru a fixed bandpass filter bank, modulated from envelope and lfo's, rythmically matched.
The second take comes from an old cittre, the first notes treated with an ebow. 
The third take was glassandos and single notes made with an korg minilouge synthesizer.

Jörgen Andersson aka Nachdenken: live experimenting with prepared eurorack and other devices. Musically it travelling between ambient, noise and rhythmic driven sounds bites molded into a refreshing sound collage.

This track is an edited liveimprovisation on my eurorack.
Three different sounds with microfreak is added.
One is the sound of plucked strings.
Next is synthi strings chords and the last take is done with a rythmic, percussive metallic sound.
Last track in the intro containes a drone and later on in the piece noises made with monotron delay.

New ambient track - Fokal. 

Maybe something to listen to when you're lying in the hammock in the sunshine, or maybe accompanying the drizzle under a tree. 

It contains instruments such as a korg volcamodular and a sixswinger. There is also a loop running from a uher4000 reporter s (from 1969). Actually it was used in the apollo11 space mission. Finally I put sparesly pickings of a so called sixswinger. 
A sixswinger is a DIY string instrument, built at a workshop with Yuri Landman (NL). 
It's very pleasing with overtones and goes well with overdrive and such. 
I also using electrical noises from the a laptop, displays etc. I pick them up with a Soma ether v2.

Fokal

Nachdenken. Solo act by Jörgen Andersson. The music that I made are occasionally created out of experimentation and d.i.y-solutions where modular systems like eurorack comes in mind. 
My first attempt was experiments in the mid-80’s where made with a Korg MS-20, SH-202 , Drummatix/TR-606 thru a boss delay and a DIY spring reverb and onto a tape deck (later porta studio). 

The music making took off from listening lot to bands in the post-punk and the so called krautrock era. That was inspiration mainly from British synth oriented bands like Cabaret Voltaire, (early) Human League and the German Kraftwerk of course. 

Later on I met Peter Fransson aka Retep Folo in the early 90’s and we started experimenting cassette tape looping and recorded under the name INTONARUMORI. Later on we started Hadley with Svante Sjöstedt on guitar. We made a CDr that got some attention. An journalist at Göteborgs Posten compared us to Roxy Music and Gary Numan. Me and Peter did some gigs as duo Further on It developed to Exhadley with Peter Fransson on bass and Rickard Olsson on Drums. We were starting to play live
