XOR Gate is the brainchild of Heinrich Mueller, one half of Drexciya and Dopplereffekt.

In linguistic or electronic logic, the XOR Gate designates a device, digital or grammatical, which outputs a value only when two differing inputs are fed into it. This can be summed up with the formula "one or the other but not neither, nor both."

A conic section is a shape created as a plane intersects a cone. This can result in different figures such as a circle, an ellipse, a parabola or a hyperbola. Conic Sections is here composed of eight themes, or shapes, over which waveform and synthesis entirely merge with human emotions. The line is blurred. These eight themes are intertwined, forming one long musical string. The line is forever blurred.

Conic Sections was commissioned by ArtCenter South Florida in Miami, for the AN IMAGE exhibit.

Verveine ☉ Ouroboros Festival 2023

This summer, after working all the year imagining, preparing and designing our beloved Ouroboros festival, we had a special moment of relief on the Saturday morning, waking up with the ambient and dubby tones of Verveine, one of our members, and see that the first night as passed, everything finally went very well and it was continuing to flow till the next day. 

It’s hard to find the right words to describe the crazy vibes we experienced so we made sure to retranscrit with this podcasts a bit of it to transmit it. More coming !

Louis Rapet also known as Sindh or 9beats is a visionary DJ and Producer from France, who transcends genre boundaries through his evocative creations. His music reflects a plethora of emotions, merging traditional influences with contemporary nuances. Under his alias, 9beats, he explores new dimensions in sound, with releases on NORITE and Mould Audio, showcasing versatility and ingenuity. 

Sindh's music serves as a testament to the transformative power of creativity, bridging divides through a dynamic fusion of pulsating beats, hypnotic melodies, and experimental textures. His releases reflect a mastery of production techniques, demonstrating a keen ear for sonic intricacies.

HOC radio X Mostra - Fran Campos vinyl set

After belonging to the Move and Skyzoo Spanish collectives in the mid-90s, Fran Campos (@fran-campos) became part in the 2000's of the team of residents of Le Club and in the organization of the Observatori festival . In 2010 begins Black Label, a monthly party at Miniclub, where, for 5 years, he unveiled his Housier side. Then he was busy with his residency at Jerusalem Club, Caravaca (Proper Club), and with the organization and residency of the Taiga parties in Madrid, betting on contemporary Techno with a deep character. Currently, he continues to be interested in the most avant-garde musical currents that Techno hosts, from Ambient to Deep Techno, through Electro, Halftime, and even D&B. Always selecting the best music at the periphery of the industry.

This vinyl set took place at midday on Sunday, in the Foso of the Castell de Montjuïc, with the epic feeling of dancing under that intense spring rain. The third edition of Mostra 24 (@mostrabcn) brought together more than 1,000 people across two different locations and featured four days of musical acts. The lineup included 32 artists who delivered high-quality avant-garde and experimental electronic sounds.

For our fourteenth installement we've invited Noah Lyas, an artist passionate about making refined ceramics and composing deep atmospheric rhythms.

Malii grew up in a house where music was always on because of two passionate parents who shared a large record collection with their children. With a father as a musician, early contact with different instruments was made as well as performing arts.

Later in life, around the age of twenty, after many dances in night clubs with friends, Malii started to make his own music focussing on soft percussive rhythms and lush atmospheres, finding inspiration in different kinds of music and sometimes movies.

The first two releases, “Before the Horizon” and “Obsidian”, were the starting point of Noah Lyas, his pseudonym, and the beginning of his record label called “Profundo Collective”.

Bio:

Salva Coromina  aka ABSIS. 
His involvement in the Barcelona scene began in the late 90s under the alias MouseDown/MouseUp, having years of experience as Dj resident in club such as Razzmatazz (The loft) and festivals like Sonar.
He has always been exploring the deeper side of electronic music, moving from ambient to techno. ABSIS currently runs his residency at Laut club in Barcelona with the Midline parties... he is also a resident at the MOSTRA festival in Barcelona and his productions are published on labels such as hivern discs, Affin and Oslated among others.

The artist has cut his teeth on renowned labels such as Semantica, Circular limited, Dynamic Reflection, Affin, Nachtstrom Schallplatten... and has performed in clubs and festivals all over Europe. His signature sound is mental, hypnotic, powerful and made for dancefloors.
