For this year's last episode of Nachtigall Podcast we once more switched to English, since we invited Rumi von Baires from Argentina. He lives in Vienna since 2016 and quickly made his place in the local scene by organising House Music events like "A Party Called Jack" and associations and appearances with queer Viennese event collectives like Sisters and Malefiz. 

Rumi von Baires is inspired by the music of his ancestors in Cape Verde, Blues and the vibrant New York party scene, still searching for the same energy in his new home town Vienna. The most recent output of the 38 year old DJ and scientist is the queer event series called "GAZE" at Club Praterstraße. At Nachtigall Podcast he talks about his biography and his path to be a psychologist and House Music DJ in Vienna, his perspective on the local scene and future plans.

Die salopp gemischte, absolut garnicht gemasterte und eigentlich auch unfertige Version eines Liedes darüber, dass es einem im Leben immer anders geht. 
Improvisiert in einer einzigen pfiffigen Session, plane ich wie immer seit vielen Tausend Jahren es "irgendwann mal noch so richtig geil fertig zu machen".

Niklas Wandt is a drummer/percussionist, producer and DJ living in Berlin. Originally from a diverse self-taught background of Free Jazz, Rap and Psychedelic Rock and matured at Düsseldorf's Salon des Amateurs, he pushed more and more into electronic territory. Main live acts at the moment are Wolf Müller & Niklas Wandt (Growing Bin Records) and Neuzeitliche Bodenbeläge. After an acclaimed 7inch and 12inch on Düsseldorf imprint Themes For Great Cities, they are about to release their debut LP "Der Große Preis" on Bureau B.
