SAMA is the next artist featured in the Artaphine Series. The Dutch producer and DJ focuses on sound design and solid groove to craft techno with an emotional edge. His distinctive approach caught the attention of Secret Cinema and, more recently, Rødhåd — leading to a contribution on one of the WSNWG Various Artist EPs and a feature in Rødhåd’s Fabric mix.

This set showcases the art of an opening performance: a slow, deliberate build using minimalist elements to create an atmosphere that carries the crowd into the early hours — recorded at Club BASIS in Utrecht.

b.e.n.m has been soaking up Berlin Techno vibes for almost a decade.

Venezuela, Italy, and Argentina have all witnessed the evolution of Michel Lauriola, one of the most consistent and respected names in contemporary Techno. Based in Buenos Aires, he has established himself as a producer and resident artist at Under Club, the country’s most important techno institution.
With a solid career spanning more than 20 years as a DJ and over a decade as a producer, Michel has released on heavyweight labels such as Nachtstrom Schallplatten, Kazerne (Mord), Faut Section, Aine - Polegroup, Planet Rhythm, Soma, Edit Select, Modularz, Immaterial, and Children of Tomorrow. His talent has taken him to renowned booths around the world, including Tresor (Germany), The Glasgow School of Art (Scotland), Razzmatazz (Spain), Fabrik (Spain), Moderna Club (Colombia), Techno Tuesday (Netherlands), among many others.
Michel’s story began with a rock band and a drive to study Sound Engineering, but it was techno that ultimately captivated him and became the driving force of his artistic path. Today, his style seamlessly blends hypnotic and hard techno, reflecting years of sonic exploration while preserving his unique identity.
Behind the decks, Michel is known for building immersive atmospheres and forging a direct connection with the crowd. Influenced by artists such as Marco Remus, Mauro Picotto, Reeko, Kamikaze Space Program, and Rrose, his sound weaves an intricate mosaic of inspirations into a distinct and unmistakable signature.
In 2023, Michel has been especially active, curating all-night-long sets and sharing his expertise as an instructor at Escuela Sónica, where he mentors emerging talents. His latest creation, “Bióticos”, draws inspiration from nature’s textures and sensations, transforming them into a sonic journey that celebrates the delicate balance of life.
With deep roots in the Argentine techno scene and his eyes firmly set on the future, Michel Lauriola continues to expand his presence within the global techno community, preparing upcoming releases and delivering music that stands as a prelude to the euphoria he brings to dance floors worldwide.
