Madd Rod is an electronic music rebel whose passion for his craft stems from an inextinguishable curiosity and an affair with the cultural diversity around him. 

Born and raised in Lisbon, he was from a young age influenced by the blend of traditional and modern elements he found within the city.

In this mix, he confronts the need to tame ambiguous poles of his persona: allowing the alter ego and the man to coexist and engage together in a (re)visit to the past — through the future. 

Committed to the desire to break all rules, Madd Rod takes the role of the narrator, turning the obscure and the wild into parts of an urban myth.

As an artist, I find my passion in merging music with my voice to tell a story.
Writing and singing allow me to connect deeply with myself, turning feelings into something universal. 
For me it’s a way of sharing a piece of my inner world. 
By adding my own vocals to existing tracks I’m able to recreate music in a way that feels entirely new, turning them into a personal reinterpretation. 
This Podcast is a personal journey which represents more than just sound that i love - it’s also a part of me.

We are back. We are rising.

Stronger than ever, we step into the new moon’s embrace—reborn, remembered. For too long, we wandered the dark moon’s depths. Too long has the earth known imbalance. The masculine ruled through force of will, through materialism, through dogma and rigid law. We built, we conquered, we consumed—yet we lost purpose. We lost ritual. We lost the feminine spirit.

But now—we return.
As warriors, healers, priestesses, and medicine women of the earth, we rise—not to conquer, not to divide, but to weave a new way. A way where our voices, once silenced, now echo—not in rebellion, but in remembrance. To awaken the soul. To restore the whole.

This rising is for all. For the sacred masculine, long exiled from his depths, severed from intuition and true leadership. Feminine power does not rise to rule, but to balance, to call forth, to invite the forgotten home.

Neither dependence nor independence will set us free. Neither patriarchy nor matriarchy alone can hold the truth. Interdependence will set the tone. The dance of opposites, the embrace of duality—this is the way. The union of feminine and masculine, shadow and light, fire and water. Not as enemies. Not as rulers. But as one.
Through this birth, through this sound, through this tapestry of voices— we awaken the unconscious and step into the light.

We do not rise against. We rise with. We do not return to the past. We return to wholeness.
