How The Wind Knows

NB: The germ of this song about my father, our relationship, and his unexpected passing in December, 2022, came about from listening to Garddwr Porffor's instrumental track, Tune for Mam and Dad, which he wrote to commemorate his parents' passing about five years ago. As the song had no words, I asked him if he would be okay with my transforming it into a piece about my father, and he kindly consented, and subsequently added its beautiful and sensitive introduction, and adjusted aspects of the track to serve the prose and my voice. 
Although I still feel like a magpie stealing a shiny treasure and making use of it for myself, this feeling is mitigated somewhat by something @garddwrporffor once pointed out... that collaborations are magic, as they transform one thing into something entirely different!
