Movement Recordings closes out the month of November with a first ever collaboration from Tash and Movement Machina. Greek artist and Movement Recordings boss Tash is coming off a litany of successes across 2021. Releases via Lowbit Records, Mango Alley, UV Noir and his own Movement imprints were all standouts, as he continued to tread the waters between progressive and melodic house and techno. 2022 has seen Tash prosper further with a joint single alongside Serbian artist Circle of Life, a project which highlighted a great summer season for the veteran producer. Meanwhile, Finnish artist Movement Machina has been immersed in the progressive scene's melodic regions for the better part of a decade. Mango Alley, Monstercat Silk, Yomo Records, Zerothree and his own Move Mo imprint have been primary landing spots for his far-reaching sound, while the underground's premiere tastemakers have long been supporters of his work. Now paired for the first time, Tash and Movement Machina combine their extensive forces on 'Odyssey'.

The latest release on Madloch's 3rd Avenue imprint finds the label showcasing the 26th edition of their popular 'Three Of A Kind' series. These VA EP releases feature three producers who contribute two originals, with the end result being a unique amalgamation of sound, something which has now become synonymous with the Sound Avenue affiliate. Invited to showcase their talents for the 26th edition are Gonzalo Aranda from Argentina, ShemoW from Sri Lanka, and two other producers from Argentina; Lean Agüero & Julian Luque.

Hicky & Kalo join the label with the ‘Solstice EP’.

Montreal natives and resident DJs at the world famous Stereo club, Hicky & Kalo are Canada’s latest greatest export. Both classical trained musicians and University graduates, they have gone on to craft a stellar reputation for their inimitable edge, commitment to the scene and penchant for deep melodic grooves. 

Opening with lead track ‘Solstice’, pretty arps, warm pads and a loose percussive groove are all thats needed. Picking up pace in the midsection with a galloping bass, pressure builds to the final epic break. Employing a rolling tribal groove, ‘Jasmine’ opens with more oomf. Keys, field recordings  and ethereal pads all keep things light. Finally, ‘Tarde de Sentimiento’ takes the EP in wildly different directions. Subtly Indian in sound design, it slowly gathers pace until the climatic break mid way. A solid EP and we welcome the guys to the Sudbeat family.
