The word 'Sanyuka' in my native language of luganda means 'rejoice’. I wrote this song during a period where I was reflecting on how far God had brought me since I first gave my life to Christ. I had faced many setbacks, hardships and pain through the years and the world has experienced even more over the past few months, but we always have a reason to thank God and rejoice. My prayer is that whatever season of life you are in and despite whatever test or trial you are facing, you find your reason to rejoice in God, always.
