bit of a self-cover to round out the year! I wrote A Battle Of Decidedly Unfair Difficulty for the SNES about two years ago, and when relistening to it today I had the brilliant idea to see what it'd be like if it were a MegaDrive RPG tune instead -- cue me slaving over a new arrangement that suits the Megadrive like an utter dunce!

Detour Perspective

For maj7's "ESCAPE FROM WIP CITY" event. This is based on a WIP by anosci from 2018. Not wanting to destroy his original vision, I decided to try and make it a bit longer and add some additional elements, rather than making a cover or remix. 

I decided to use the Roland XV-5080 VST (for the first time), fun to use and has some good sounds although it started ruining OpenMPT's performance, so unfortunately this track didn't turn out too long. But at least I think I added some nice parts.
