It's really such a pleasure for me to have one of my favorite producers here as a guest DJ in the mix for some Moments Of Light 'n Darkness. You find his tracks regularly in my sets. I love his way to interpretate dub techno and dark ambient stuff also. He also has a wide range of styles in his background wether more housy stuff or some weird and sonic eighties flavours.
Now he comes with such a deep and ritch dubby set with so much light and energy. 

Here's what he is saying about it personally: "I've been a fan of Kerstin's MLD series for a while so it's a privilege to be asked to contribute a guest mix. It's a selection of faster, harder tracks which is a side of dub techno I think is often overlooked. I wanted it to be hard and funky but always deep, the kind of mix which would be equally suited to a club or headphones environment. There's a mix of old and new with some great recent releases and a few classics, bookended by my 2 favourite ever dub tech tracks."

"Truly, I feel privileged to have been able to craft a sonic space for Temple. And to have done it with the volume so high and with such equipment. Over two (strange) (eclectic) (kitschy) hours, I simulated being a sensitive algorithm, choosing only and exclusively songs that once moved me and that, far from their real labels, have always been in the same drawer. A personal Moebius strip, as a good friend said after the set. It seems that if you close your eyes and let yourself be carried away, genres merge and disappear: only the emotion and commitment remain. Endless thanks (still today and always) to those who trusted me and to those who came to let themselves go. Long live Temple."

Bulgaria based Ivelin Iliev is the face behind the @protuberance project. He has been a music lover and selector for over 20 years and in 2010 he opened his own studio where he began producing and publishing his music with different netlabels both in Bulgaria and abroad. He has worked closely with the oldest netlabel in Bulgaria – MAHORKA – and has produced 4 independent albums, one of which has been released on disc. 

He is also one of the founders of compilation series called Eastern Depths. In its four editions the compilation explores the experimental underground scene in Bulgaria, and compiles the music of many different independent producers in the country. As a producer he likes to experiment, and sets no limits to his music. Throughout his mixes you can find Deep techno, Dub techno, Drum and Bass, IDM, and deep Dub Ambient. 

In 2019 he released his own internet podcast series called Cryptic Vibes where he mixes his own music selections. The flavours of Cryptic Vibes are very diverse and follow the intertwining of the dub sound within the different dance genres like techno, tech house, and minimal. His sets have been part of rubrics like Deep electronic podcast, Melotonin podcast, Poisonoise music.
