Dutch studio wizard Thys is the producer’s producer. As a member of Noisia he pushed the boundaries of sound design with remarkable attention to detail. In recent years his solo output led him to explore more subgenres of club music, in the widest range of tempos, and finding freedom in spontaneous collaborations. On his new Fool’s Gold EP, Eigenwise, Thys is making the most playful music of his career. He jumps from garage to futuristic electro, from hardgroove to jungle with remarkable ease, subverting familiar tropes and flipping them on their heads.
