This song is from the Lemko people, an ethnic group inhabiting Lemkivshnchyna, a part of Transcarpathia (spanning Ukraine, Slovakia and Poland) who have been displaced from their homeland for years. The spoken language of the Lemkos, which is somewhat of a language in its own right, is a dialect of Russian or Ukrainian.

At sunset we stood around the strongest sacred fire I have ever seen, and everything in me turned to fear. I felt what was coming... that night and beyond. We harnessed the energy and created a night to always remember, challenge and all. And so the year goes....

If you really want to dance your ass off, hard core, big and jungle wild. this set is for you. If you were there.... F*ck yeah! what a moment in time!

So grateful for the musicians, and the inspiration to record this session for you, more than half way through the year and share what we felt that night under the stars on the land at the Costa Rica Yoga Spa- my favorite \ dance floors on the planet!
