Da Luka - Windfall (Namatjira Remix)(Balkan Connection) [PREVIEW]

Luke Santos and Marc De Koning both appearing the first time on Stellar Fountain roster. The duo has been working together since 2014 in the studio, their recent, breakthrough track called 'Numinous' has already rocked the clubs and charts thanks to the help of Hernan Catteneo, Dimitri & Oliver Weiter. The slow evolving progressive piece operates with a hint of tech taste and shiny southern vibe got into the hands of respected remixers like Namatjira, Marcelo Paladini and George Yammine. All the guys has transformed the main track's message into their own language of sound, but kept the nature of the production: deep and driving.

William Forest and Max Cue are back on MNL after the release of 'Odd Shaped Eyes' on one of our 'Seasons' EP's earlier this year. The duo from Belgium serve you with a beautiful new song titled 'Blighted Shade', an emotive piece of work. Melodic techno at it's finest!

On remix duties we welcome Namatjira on board, a Dutch artist that has been on the forefront of the progressive house scene for quite some time now with a proven track record with releases on Hope Recordings, SexOnWax, Lowbit, Balkan Connection and most recently his well received album on 3rd Avenue, a label which is also not a stranger to Max Cue.

So it's up to you, the consumer; will you go for the emo-techno touch of the original, or do you lean more towards Namatjira's progressive workout? Heavy pickings!

Antrim & Luis Bondio - Brain Damage (Namatjira's Sunday Afternoon Remix)(Balkan Connection)[PREVIEW]

The 127th release on Suffused Music welcomes Springa back to the label for his third appearance. 
The Swedish producer and one half of the long standing Inkfish production duo delivered a remix of Josel's 'Consequences' which was released back in April of 2015. 
The track was then later showcased on the label's momentous 100th release collection in August of last year. 
Now Springa returns presenting his debut single entitled 'Syllables' alongside remixes from Micah, Namatjira and Ronfoller.
The release begins with the original mix and finds Springa crafting a modern day progressive classic. It's a journey that unfolds over nearly 11 minutes, beginning with a two minute intro setting the stage for a band of raspy synths and tough beats. Vocal overlays combine with indistinct wails for a haunting beginning before flowing through a transition of heartfelt chord changes. The vocal narrative then continues, assaulting your senses every step of the way before initiating the main break. Alien-like designs dominate the short interlude before a stripped down return begins the rewarding third act jaunt. With a bevy of emotional moments, highlighted by blissful synths and another dazzling vocal array the exhilarating climax would have to be finest moment of Springa's solo career. 

The second interpretation of 'Syllables' is provided by Namatjira who is making his second appearance on the label. The Dutch producer has enjoyed a great start to the year delivering remixes for Asymmetric Recordings and Sound Avenue, both of which made their way into Beatport’s Progressive House Top 100 and a 4 track EP for dPen's The Last Of Us Music which was a Beatport Top 20 release. His previous outing on Suffused came just last month with a remix of Ewan Rill's 'Be A Water' which was widely regarded as some of his best work to date. For his 'Syllables' interpretation Namatjira has brought his inimitable melodic style to the piece for a deep and wondrously dreamy creation. Warm bass swells and cascading keys make for an emotional first act before a short break brings the vocal elements into the mix. Coming off a touch softer the vocals add a new found emotion to those clustered keys and ultimately carry the track through a cavernous break and Holden-esque finale. Another beautiful piece of music from Namatjira and one which you'll likely be hearing a lot in the coming months.

Spring Tube Limited' 91st release is an additional full single for the tracks from label's third sampler. Here we have the first ever for almost seven years of Spring Tube's existence single with remixes from its chief Slang together with his production partner Technodreamer.

The "Deepster" single by Slang & Technodreamer includes the original version which already gained the positive reactions from the likes of Da Funk, Allende, Soulfinder, and Fernando Ferreyra among others, as well as two high-quality remixes.

The first interpretation delivers one-and-only Namatjira who has remixed for us the progressive classic "Strawberry Fields" by the legend Subsky two years back (we already definitely can call this his remix as Spring Tube's classic), and also released with us two originals EPs and two singles, besides having releases on such a respectable imprints as Sudbeat, Hope, Lowbit, Crossfrontier, Perspectives, Temporum, Classound, Sound Avenue, The Last Of Us, and the most recent signings on the mighty AnjunaDeep and Armada. With another beautiful masterpiece remix work for this our single Namatjira once again proves his status as one of the melodic progressive house best producers around.

More than seven years after its release, ‘Never Say Never’ makes its grand return through Namatjira’s mind-blowing remix. Belgian masters BP & Steve Slight return to the label with 'Access To'. Their last outing back in December of 2015 was received to high acclaim – with big support from the likes of Nick Warren, Hernan Cattaneo, Guy J, Sasha, Cid Inc., Guy Mantzur and many more at the time. With their long awaited return to ICONYC, BP & Steve deliver a slice of early spring vibes titled ‘Access To’. The track kicks things off nicely with its melancholic moodiness shining through as we meander effortlessly through club inspired melodies, while the sultry chords sit wonderfully on top adding an extra layer of depth.

Namatjira, famed for his intricate and refined productions created a rework full of tension from the word go, as the atmospheric vibe subtly keeps you moving with warm tinkling sounds, a smooth edge and some nicely effected sounding pieces. We basically have the formula for a bit of a monumental outing. The sparseness is the key here, as this restrained gem works its magic while it plays away, creating a warm glow, creating an air of sophistication. "Essential stuff!"

Next up is David Safado, known for his polished sound, who keeps the ethereal theme of the original alive, as the pulsating bass powers along, before its drum fills and general warmth all combine to do the talking. Like something from yesteryear, yet sounding fresh - This mystical touch up takes the energy levels up a notch, but increases the melancholy with stripped back and lucid elements at the same time, before the luscious pads grace the rework changing the vibe and creating a blanket of warmth that wraps around the effected groove.

Last but not least we have a remix courtesy of label alumni Andrez aka Third Personality who delivers a trademark kicking mix with infectious chords, intense drums and smooth breakdown. It's all about the groove, cool house vibes and the driving beats that are working their magic around Andrez's wonderfully arranged keys that create an irresistible rhythm while clever chords take the mind on a trip. ‘Access To’ is a true dance-floor monster, in every sense of the word.

Manual Music kicks off 2017 with something truly special. Nearly a decade after it's initial release on Deep Focus, 'Been Here Before' by Guy J gets a remix treatment by Namatjira. These are not just a couple of new remixes, but these were born out of the idea to create an ode to Jerry van Schie, co-label owner of Deep Records and Deep Focus, and driving force behind the Groovecollection brand who passed away in 2016 after losing his fight to cancer.

In the words of Namatjira: 'After the funeral of Jerry I was thinking I wanted to do something musical to honor Jerry with. It took me a few to know what I wanted. When I opened the old Deep (Jerry & Peter's label) catalogue there was immediately one track that caught my attention, 'Been Here Before' by Guy J. I contacted Peter to see if he was willing to share the parts with me and he agreed immediately with me. 

I started working on the track and made two versions. I told Guy the story and let him listen to the sketches I had made and together we made a final choice. Then I finished the instrumental and contacted Ben "Royal Sapien" Mautner if he wanted to give the vocal parts his touch to make it work with my instrumental. 

When we both were satisfied the first big bump I had to take was to talk to Jerry's brother and hoped he would feel the remix. He defenilty felt it and contacted Jerry's wife. Later that week I had her on the phone and she told me she cried during the complete song, I had goosebumps all over my body and a lump in my throat.'

All proceeds for this release will go to Jerry's wife to donate to whatever charity cause she feels appropriate.
