Mattr's follow up to his recent 4 track EP on Renaissance focuses on intricate, syncopated melodies, heavy bass and shimmering rhythms. Using granular synthesis he fuses found sounds with delicate instrumental flutters to create an atmospheric record.

Lex [Loft & Sound]

This track was 101% spontaneous , I simply created a patch on a Elka Synthex and played 2 simple chords that were recorded in the synth internal sequencer. Synthex was then running tough Hologram Microcosm that was tweaked live throughout the entire recording creating an hypnotic soundscape a pure space travel song that takes you to the next galaxy.

Happy Dream

A lot of concrete buildings have been abandoned and nature wants its space back by trying to wrap and break them. This is the concept behind the album: "URBANATURE".

It's a downtempo/instrumental journey (with some vocal tracks feat. RYAL and Ilaria Riccio) that leads to the sun, through rain and heavy feelings.
The tracks are heavily influenced by trip-hop and alternative sounds of '90s (Massive Attack, Portishead, Garbage, etc.).

All the photos for the sleeve cover art and labels and music video for "Darkside (a Way to Come Back)" are entirely my own productions.
