Chicago-based experimental multidisciplinary artist Pedrolino has been producing music and organizing events for the past 10 years, releasing music over the last five years under names like Pedrolino, Baka, and performing as DJ Chainsawman and Holey Head. They have released music on labels such as Soil, Shi Shi, Forkha, OSM Tapes, and Northern Industrial Movement. Pedrolino’s productions are brutal and uncompromising, favoring complexity while avoiding overly intellectual posturing. “The goal has always been to create art that we can live in—a work that addresses us as much as we address it, connecting on an undeniably human level”.

They say what happens at Horst Club stays at Horst Club... Except for this recording of my set for the Gay Haze x Cocktail d'Amore weekender from 9-11 November. 31 hours of fun in Vilvoorde, damn that was super lovely. So good to see everyone and immerse ourselves in the space. 

Had the most fun ever playing in the Garage room on Saturday night/Sunday Morning: our foggy/bassy oasis within the belly of the beast just called for a slow body music set. Went deep into the collection and slowed down a lot of faster things to make this one work and I'm very happy with how this turned out. S/O to the bestest crowd as always. <3

Also mayor shout-out to Gay Haze and Cocktail d'Amore for letting me be a part of this one and to the whole Horst team for once again creating one of the best environments to do our DJ-thing (and come back for more and more in the audience). These are the moments where it just all clicks together.
