ਦਿਨੁ ਰਾਤੀ ਆਰਾਧਹੁ ਪਿਆਰੋ ਨਿਮਖ ਨ ਕੀਜੈ ਢੀਲਾ ॥
Worship the Lord in adoration, day and night, O my dear - do not delay for a moment.
Ḏin rāṯī ārāḏẖahu pi▫āro nimakẖ na kījai dẖīlā.

ਸੰਤ ਸੇਵਾ ਕਰਿ ਭਾਵਨੀ ਲਾਈਐ ਤਿਆਗਿ ਮਾਨੁ ਹਾਠੀਲਾ ॥੧॥
Serve the Saints with loving faith, and set aside your pride and stubbornness. ||1||
Sanṯ sevā kar bẖāvnī lā▫ī▫ai ṯi▫āg mān hāṯẖīlā. ||1||

ਮੋਹਨੁ ਪ੍ਰਾਨ ਮਾਨ ਰਾਗੀਲਾ ॥
The fascinating, playful Lord is my very breath of life and honor.
Mohan parān mān rāgīlā.

ਬਾਸਿ ਰਹਿਓ ਹੀਅਰੇ ਕੈ ਸੰਗੇ ਪੇਖਿ ਮੋਹਿਓ ਮਨੁ ਲੀਲਾ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
He abides in my heart; beholding His playful games, my mind is fascinated. ||1||Pause||
Bās rahi▫o hī▫are kai sange pekẖ mohi▫o man līlā. ||1|| rahā▫o.

ਜਿਸੁ ਸਿਮਰਤ ਮਨਿ ਹੋਤ ਅਨੰਦਾ ਉਤਰੈ ਮਨਹੁ ਜੰਗੀਲਾ ॥
Remembering Him, my mind is in bliss, and the rust of my mind is removed.
Jis simraṯ man hoṯ ananḏā uṯrai manhu jangīlā.

ਮਿਲਬੇ ਕੀ ਮਹਿਮਾ ਬਰਨਿ ਨ ਸਾਕਉ ਨਾਨਕ ਪਰੈ ਪਰੀਲਾ ॥੨॥੪॥੧੩॥
The great honor of meeting the Lord cannot be described; O Nanak, it is infinite, beyond measure. ||2||4||13||
Milbe kī mahimā baran na sāka▫o Nānak parai parīlā. ||2||4||13||

ਹਲਤਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਪਲਤਿ ਸੁਖੁ ਨਿਤ ਸੁਖੁ ਸਿਮਰਨੋ ਨਾਮੁ ਗੋਬਿੰਦ ਕਾ ਸਦਾ ਲੀਜੈ ॥
Peace in this world, peace in the next world and peace forever, remembering Him in meditation. Chant forever the Name of the Lord of the Universe.
Halaṯ sukẖ palaṯ sukẖ niṯ sukẖ simrano nām gobinḏ kā saḏā lījai.

ਮਿਟਹਿ ਕਮਾਣੇ ਪਾਪ ਚਿਰਾਣੇ ਸਾਧਸੰਗਤਿ ਮਿਲਿ ਮੁਆ ਜੀਜੈ ॥੧॥ ਰਹਾਉ ॥
The sins of past lives are erased, by joining the Saadh Sangat, the Company of the Holy; new life is infused into the dead. ||1||Pause||
Mitėh kamāṇe pāp cẖirāṇe sāḏẖsangaṯ mil mu▫ā jījai. ||1|| rahā▫o.

ਰਾਜ ਜੋਬਨ ਬਿਸਰੰਤ ਹਰਿ ਮਾਇਆ ਮਹਾ ਦੁਖੁ ਏਹੁ ਮਹਾਂਤ ਕਹੈ ॥
In power, youth and Maya, the Lord is forgotten; this is the greatest tragedy - so say the spiritual sages.
Rāj joban bisranṯ har mā▫i▫ā mahā ḏukẖ ehu mahāŉṯ kahai.

ਆਸ ਪਿਆਸ ਰਮਣ ਹਰਿ ਕੀਰਤਨ ਏਹੁ ਪਦਾਰਥੁ ਭਾਗਵੰਤੁ ਲਹੈ ॥੧॥
Hope and desire to sing the Kirtan of the Lord's Praises - this is the treasure of the most fortunate devotees. ||1||
Ās pi▫ās ramaṇ har kīrṯan ehu paḏārath bẖāgvanṯ lahai. ||1||

ਸਰਣਿ ਸਮਰਥ ਅਕਥ ਅਗੋਚਰਾ ਪਤਿਤ ਉਧਾਰਣ ਨਾਮੁ ਤੇਰਾ ॥
O Lord of Sanctuary, all-powerful, imperceptible and unfathomable - Your Name is the Purifier of sinners.
Saraṇ samrath akath agocẖarā paṯiṯ uḏẖāraṇ nām ṯerā.

ਅੰਤਰਜਾਮੀ ਨਾਨਕ ਕੇ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਸਰਬਤ ਪੂਰਨ ਠਾਕੁਰੁ ਮੇਰਾ ॥੨॥੨॥੫੪॥
The Inner-knower, the Lord and Master of Nanak is totally pervading and permeating everywhere; He is my Lord and Master. ||2||2||54||

ਕਰਿ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੀਤਮ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਦੇਖਹਿ ਦਰਸੁ ਤੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
Be Merciful, O my Beloved Lord and Master, that I may behold the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan with my eyes.
Kar kirpā mere parīṯam su▫āmī neṯar ḏekẖėh ḏaras ṯerā rām.

ਲਾਖ ਜਿਹਵਾ ਦੇਹੁ ਮੇਰੇ ਪਿਆਰੇ ਮੁਖੁ ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧੇ ਮੇਰਾ ਰਾਮ ॥
Please bless me, O my Beloved, with thousands of tongues, to worship and adore You with my mouth, O Lord.
Lākẖ jihvā ḏeh mere pi▫āre mukẖ har ārāḏẖe merā rām.

ਹਰਿ ਆਰਾਧੇ ਜਮ ਪੰਥੁ ਸਾਧੇ ਦੂਖੁ ਨ ਵਿਆਪੈ ਕੋਈ ॥
Worshipping the Lord in adoration, the Path of Death is overcome, and no pain or suffering will afflict you.
Har ārāḏẖe jam panth sāḏẖe ḏūkẖ na vi▫āpai ko▫ī.

ਜਲਿ ਥਲਿ ਮਹੀਅਲਿ ਪੂਰਨ ਸੁਆਮੀ ਜਤ ਦੇਖਾ ਤਤ ਸੋਈ ॥
The Lord and Master is pervading and permeating the water, the land and the sky; wherever I look, there He is.
Jal thal mahī▫al pūran su▫āmī jaṯ ḏekẖā ṯaṯ so▫ī.

ਭਰਮ ਮੋਹ ਬਿਕਾਰ ਨਾਠੇ ਪ੍ਰਭੁ ਨੇਰ ਹੂ ਤੇ ਨੇਰਾ ॥
Doubt, attachment and corruption are gone. God is the nearest of the near.
Bẖaram moh bikār nāṯẖe parabẖ ner hū ṯe nerā.

ਨਾਨਕ ਕਉ ਪ੍ਰਭ ਕਿਰਪਾ ਕੀਜੈ ਨੇਤ੍ਰ ਦੇਖਹਿ ਦਰਸੁ ਤੇਰਾ ॥੧॥
Please bless Nanak with Your Merciful Grace, O God, that his eyes may behold the Blessed Vision of Your Darshan. ||1||
