The words attempt to get through to the guilty party in hopes of easing the burden on her friend and revitalizing the marriage.

Somewhere Warm Again With Me

I've always loved playing this melody. I wrote it many many years ago. By far my most elaborate melody. This is a song of mine with lyrics, which I'll do at some point. When I play it just instrumental I like to add some different things in it, and I shorten it up. I hope you enjoy this take I did on the old Baldwin tonight, it was fun! You might hear a creak sound from the pedal, sorry piano is from the 60's lol.  

Faye was my piano teacher for a few years when I was little. Such fond memories, riding my bike to her house, her kindness, awesome snacks, and how she made every lesson fun. I never liked reading music though, ended up Id just watch her hands and I'd copy them, and hear how it sounded. At recitals I'd have the music up but never looked at it, cause I had it memorized, and to this day every melody of mine is all done from memory.

I write songs with people and on my own.  I love the way a song can light a match and illuminate a story or a feeling or a character. I'm especially drawn to Americana and Country.
