Dr Mendez is a French–Moroccan artist from Montpellier, now based in Australia. After more than 20 years of DJing, travelling and completing a Medical PhD, he chose the land Down Under to develop his live performances and productions. Today he stands at the heart of Sydney’s electronic landscape and is also the Co-Director of Movement, a touring agency operating across Australia and Asia. A surging name in recent years, he has released multiple records and shared lineups with leading international artists such as Francis Mercier, Aaron Sevilla, MoBlack, Jamie Jones, Harry Romero, M.A.N.D.Y, Low Steppa, Natalia Paris, among others.

Influenced by his roots, he has refined a distinctive sound built on grooving, rolling arrangements, creating a world between French House and Latin House that nods to the golden Afro House vibe. Deep grooves, sexy drums, vocals and unmistakable basslines define his sets and productions, equally at home in warm-up slots, peak-time club moments, festival stages or after-hours. It’s clear why this French–Moroccan talent is on such a steep trajectory… and yet, he’s only just getting started.

Los Angeles based Alternative Pop/R&B duo, PWR CPL (“Power Couple”) is comprised of multi-instrumentalists Jon Lall and Summer Jasmine. As co-producers, songwriters and vocalists with contrasting musical upbringings and sensibilities, they balance one another. Phase 1 of their 4 part BLKS (pronounced "blocks") series FEEL showcases their jazz, hip-hop and electronic influences, which was followed by their single "Like Fire" celebrating International Women's Day. “Higher Love” shows a more cinematic and romantic side, which is being accompanied by their first music video. The much anticipated Phase 2 of BLKS entitled MIND is scheduled to drop alongside their first short film. PWR CPL is committed to harnessing the power of music for positive change and dedicates a portion of their time to creative outreach in underserved communities locally and abroad.
