Here is a new song we made. It's called Everything Belongs To The Sun and it's a track from our new album (more about that SOON).

Hand claps, murmurs and layer upon layer of vocals made this track.The lyrics of the refrain were unwittingly written by Galia’s daughter. Full on and full off again and on and off; start and stop again. Take a breath and a cat squeaks in a gap. A baby breathes. And it’s always the same fight about who can perform on the track and who has to do the recording (Galia tends to triumph simply because of her inferior knowledge of compressors and recording levels).

Quickie from us: "HOLY SHIT, FINALLY THIS FUCKING SONG IS OUT... This song was meant to be an Edit to promote a show we had at LIV in december. Initially we had Disclosure's 'Fire Starts to Burn' over the track and thought the drop was way to hot to use someone else's vocal. So we had this ridiculous idea to create a song around the concept of the #SELFIE. We really weren't sure if this was the most brilliant idea, or worst idea we ever had... So we had our home girl Alexis come over and within an hour we had 2 verses and the song done. At that point in time we thought it was hilarious but we were quite sure how it would be received, but seeing as we aren't pussbags and music is about experimenting and having fun, we put it out. 2 days later the song had 200k plays and about 1% negative feedback. So we went to Dim Mak who we always loved as a label and asked them if they were interested in it, if we went back in added a new verse and changed the drops. 6 Weeks later here we are, with an amazing Music Video compiled with all this great submitted #Selfies from Fans, Friends, DJS and Celebs. So we hope you all enjoy the tune as much as we did putting this whole project together. This is our first EVER Original release and it would mean the world to us if you all bought the song, shared the video and took #SELFIE video... ”

1) Every time we asked someone special for a #SELFIE they said yes, but then said they would send us one later like it was some chore, when all they had to do was turn their phone around on the device they were texting us from....
2) About 15% of the submissions we got from ppl involved Nudity
3) About 5% involved animals
4) #Selfie was named word of the year in the USA and The Netherlands...

I´m beginning to be my own demo detective. Finding old unfinished song and sharing them here on soundcloud. This is a demo song i created with Ray Wiley in Austin Texas. He was a busy man so we had only one hour to work with.
 First he wanted me to make a song about a guy that had left me for another woman but i said no to that idea and that is was far from the truth. I asked him to go with me to my room and record what comes to heart and mind and so we did. Ane Trolle on Vocal and mouth harp. Ray Wiley on guitar and foot on floor.

Finally, the Dave Strider fansong I promised you all ages ago! The third installment in a set of four Homestuck songs I'm doing, one for each of the beta kids. Jade and Rose have already been done.

This song was a bit different in the vocal style for most of the other songs I've done before, but I'm quite happy with how it turned out! ABSOLUTELY WEAR HEADPHONES FOR THE FULL HELLA RAD EFFECT.

Alex Clare - Too Close (prod. Diplo, Switch)

This one is a lot more fluid, and more upbeat. A first attempt with actual acapella singing vocals, from the amazing Les Nubians' cover of Sade's "Sweetest Taboo" ft. Black Thought from The Roots. 

It seems to work, and again its a nice chilled track which suits Les Nubians, but I may try next time to break the background tune a little, avoid too much repetition. (The instrumental is again a modified, cut up and looped take on Psapp's cover of the Disney Classic from "Aristocats", which is a badass movie).
