A year after the release of his debut full-length album, Omens & Artifacts, KEY-G returns to Desert Trax. With a high-energy, sprawling album, “EP” is hardly an appropriate term for a collection of songs, each more than 7 minutes and some topping out around 12 minutes, which gives Curled Up Dimensions a double album feel.

“Half of Nothing” propels the listener into the album with a psystep sound and a double time beat. Fans of Birds of Paradise will get their midtempo fix on “Quantum Strikes.” The title track gets into the Ott zone with a dubby feel, and “Unleashing the Forces Within” stays in the dub realm, but soars as an uplifting gem. The lone collaboration on the album is “Pinpricks of Light” which returns to the hard-hitting psybreaks realm. “Ascension Upgrade” truly tickles the Shpongle fans who demands an extra helping of bass.

KEY - G - Half Of Nothing

Moving through the seasons with this experimental psychedelic set I recorded live at the end of March 2019 on support for @desertdwellers in Tempe, AZ. 

I've been wanting to create a DJ set made up of three distinct parts — emulating the three-act structure of many stories — for a while now, and this is my first tried and true attempt at it. My intention was to keep the vibe flowing through three energeric crests whIle maIntaInIng movement from start to finish. I ended up digging deep into my collection to make this work, pulling some forgotten classics from over the years and mashing them up with more recent tracks from some of my friends, peers, and inspirers.

This double compilation materializes the ever existing oppositions in any form of things in life (plus or minus, good or bad, light and dark, yes or no, black and white ...) and the difficulty to make choices.

His creator wanted to depict the permanent opposition between left and right brain in his head, turning every decision making into a violent inner fight betwenn both most extreme points of view. The only answer lies right in the middle of this opposition, carracterised only by the equivalent distance betwenn both these extremes.

Short Bio:   Nanda, a long running Producer, Remix artist and DJ has spent over 20 years steadily pursuing the art of vibrating subwoofers with crystallized sonic frequencies. The music is best described as journey music mixed with deep psychedelic dub, world inspired bass and micro tuned Neuro glitch synth technologies. The sounds are somewhat of a time machine that capture the moments of the ancients revisited through teleportation into the modern complexities of today's electronic music.  Nanda has shared the stage with artists such as Tipper, Freq nasty, Quanta dub, Land switcher, Kalya Scintilla and others. He has remixed artists such as Dessert Dwellers, Minnesota, and world renowned World music pioneer Jai Uttal.
