Having had a highly successful career already as part of Quantize, Adi Ashkenazi followed his own path to create D-Addiction.  Now after a few years of working deeper and deeper into his own tech-edged sound style,  D-Addiction debuts his first full length album and has packed it full of collaborations, mixing up his sound with influences from friends and cohorts to create something special aimed squarely at the dance floor. 

Rocking huge collaborations with the likes of: Major7, Vini Vici, Psysex, Sad Paradise, Krunch, Kasadelica and Royal Flush, the proof is in the pudding with how 'In Sync' all the artists involved were in the studio.

This track is probably what I am most proud of on this EP. I've always been drawn towards songs in  3/4 time signatures but its very uncommon (or non existent) in EDM releases nowadays. This song is in no way meant for a dance floor. It is really really refreshing and inspiring to write music that isn't meant to get people moving but more intended to get people out of their head and into a different world. I plan to do more tracks like this in the future!

Keep It Close (feat. Kerli)

This is the only instrumental on the EP, for this track I really wanted to explore melody and changes over time instead of bashing the ears with super complextro bass sounds. This song really came from my metal roots and how guitarists harmonize with two guitars. Harmonizing and seeing how two notes play with each other is one of my favorite parts of writing music so this song was really fun to write.

Working with Ellie Goulding was such a pleasure. She has one of those voices that is so clearly recognizable and unique. I finished this track while I was on tour with Krewella last year so at the time I really wanted to make a song that would be fun to play live. Its really nice to finally have it out so I won't be the only one singing it during shows anymore :)
