Latam first played music at a party in 2004 in circumstances rather unexpected and unplanned. Back then he was almost entirely dedicated as a listener to goa psy-trance, being in love with this genre, and partially to progressive house/trance. After a few years of practicing, performing and learning about what DJing means, encouraged by things going constantly up, he decided to give up all other business and focus on music and mixing. Started to experiment and went gradually deeper into other sub-genres of electronica, playing as DJ Latam for some years in parallel psy, trance, techno, electro, house or chill-out, in various forms, before adding in 2011 a new alter ego called Blooni to his musical expressions, born from the interest in exploring more thoroughly the underground techno and house area; furthermore, since 2014 he has another avatar, Fractaliceanu, with whom he dives into the darker depths of psytrance.
His style is groovy, hypnotic, always psychedelic and can vary depending on the party profile, audience, location, line-up and hour of playing between a harder and a more deeper sound. He appreciates artists who manifest originality, innovate and have the courage to experiment, change themselves and inspire others.

Besides DJ-ing, Latam is involved in organizing and promoting events through Thrancians organization, plus Unda and Spacesheep associations, being a co-organizer of Waha and Rebirth festivals and partner of Dakini festival, which featured artists like Juno Reactor, Astral Projection, X-Dream, Astrix, Loud, Avalon, Dickster, Psykovsky, Parasense, Fungus Funk, Orestis, Ticon, Vibrasphere, Liquid Soul, Banco De Gaia, Shane Gobi, Kashyyyk, Atriohm, Arjuna & many more. He also hosted a weekly show called Oscillator on Radio Deea, the first romanian radio fully dedicated to electronic music.

Over the years he played at many events, from big festivals with hundreds of thousands of attendants to small underground gatherings or private parties, in numerous locations, highlights being:
