Revelation of Sound is happy to present the next guests, talented DJs from Canada Project Mavara. The duo is a Vancouver-based DJ partnership between nomads Sina and Siavosh who are showcasing a unique spell of deep melodies and rhythms derived from underground sounds, diverse musical styles, and various cultural influences owing to their Middle Eastern heritage.

In late 2014, as close friends, Sina and Siavosh began their creative musical exchanges and output as Project Mavara. Playing as a duo has given both a chance to let their imagination and musical eclecticism flow freely and allows them to continuously reinvent their own sonic vision. In the process, they have managed to bridge the perspective of two varied, yet familiar backgrounds bound by the ultimate desire to forge a unique electronic signature and connect with audiences with the same passion for music.

In the past few years, as Blueprint Events resident DJs, Project Mavara has had the privilege of sharing the decks with notable artists and DJs, including, Adriatique, Andhim, Tube & Berger, Art Department, Sharam, Yokoo, Lee Burridge, and many more. Currently, as Deep Down Inside resident DJs at M.I.A. Nightclub in their hometown of Vancouver, Project Mavara continues to hold no musical boundary to surprise the people on the dance floor. They are always searching for the striking impulses in club music to turn the hours on the dance floor into special and lasting moments. It is the distinct sounds, basslines, and melodies that fuse and surface during sets that are best proof for their deep and profound love for underground dance music.

Carl Cox is an industry figurehead whos legacy in music includes his iconic label Intec, which he runs with friend and business partner Jon Rundell.

The new Intec release is from DYSART, the artist alias of Matt Tanner. A rising star in the world of techno, he appears following a release on Dense & Pika's Kneaded Pains.

Based in London where he also owns a commercial studio, this will be DYSARTs first release on Intec, and he has a second EP on Kneaded Pains plus music forthcoming on Sasha Carassis Phobiq also in the pipeline.

Matt Tanners Scrutton Street Studios is frequented by artists like Mark Knight, Prok and Fitch, Full Intention, Dave Seaman, Darren Emerson and Danny Howells. The studio is a hub of creativity, and as the owner its now Matts turn to step out into the spotlight.

DJs who have already supported DYSARTs releases include Adam Beyer, Dubfire, Danny Tenaglia, Maya Jane Coles and Skream. He is also a skilled DJ playing numerous sets with Carl Cox at Burning Man, along with past gigs in places like Turnmills and Ministry of Sound.

Forza opens the release with tough percussion forming the grooves skeleton, which is fleshed out with a bubbling acid line and rolling bassline. With a dark and spacious atmosphere the tracks raw aggression ensures its aimed directly at the dancefloor.

Beyond Reason is the slightly deeper of the two Techno cuts on the EP but it still packs a punch with mechanical percussion layered over murky synth textures. Its spooky atmosphere and unnerving tension combine to deliver a subdued but ominous aura of suspense.

Nanoplex is the live project from two of the pioneers of the UK progressive techno sound, Ben Coda & DJ Ipcress.

Ben Coda needs little introduction, his tech-prog sound crosses boundaries - tough beats and rolling basslines contrast with soaring melodies, fusing his love of the tougher sounds of techno and tech house with classic progressive house. With a busy international schedule, Coda is taking his sound to the masses.

DJ Ipcress has risen from the underground dance scene in the UK and over the last 5 years has taken his dark edged techno sound across Europe and the world. Fusing techno and house, with a deep minimal groove, a partnership with Ben Coda was always going to produce a slick future techno sound.
