A progressive Trance and Techno junkie, getting on for nearly 50yrs young. Not one of these sad OldSkool lovers, I've kept upto date as the dance scene as moved on. I obviously have Oldskool tunes I like, but not the usual morbid over played cheesy stuff. 

I'm also on mixcloud, same name, I've added a mix of my own on here, so you can  get a taste of what I'm into, and hopefully it'll open up a new genre and world of different DJ's and Tunes.

Music is my passion, my life. Love to experiment. Started learning from scratch how to make techno back in high school. I loved techno, but I felt that there is something missing. I still remember how I would listen to the sets searching for that melodic techno tracks that I always enjoyed listening so much (ex. James Holden - One For You). So I decided to experiment with that. I always thought that blending the elements of different styles would sound great. Little did I know that that is exactly what is happening. There were suddenly no particular guidelines or boundaries. I mostly don't care about the genre and style but progressive is my style of choice.

I use only computers in my productions. First: because I don`t have money to buy expensive hardware. Second: with computers everything is easy to maintain & organize. Third: with my new Quad Core, 8 Gb RAM laptop only my imagination is the limit. Plus, I can also produce and mix at the same time.

Also love to build effects & instruments, researching new DSP & synthesis methods & create new sounds when I`m bored.

I'm a metal designer by profession but i also finished graphic & web design course. Very interested in merging audio & video technologies with tools like: Processing, Pure Data, Csound, Max/MSP & HTML5 to mention a few. I am also a huge fan of fractals, l-systems, generative and algorithmic design & their application in music.

Nanoplex is the live project from two of the pioneers of the UK progressive techno sound, Ben Coda & DJ Ipcress.

Ben Coda needs little introduction, his tech-prog sound crosses boundaries - tough beats and rolling basslines contrast with soaring melodies, fusing his love of the tougher sounds of techno and tech house with classic progressive house. With a busy international schedule, Coda is taking his sound to the masses.

DJ Ipcress has risen from the underground dance scene in the UK and over the last 5 years has taken his dark edged techno sound across Europe and the world. Fusing techno and house, with a deep minimal groove, a partnership with Ben Coda was always going to produce a slick future techno sound.
