This is the second demo for my project recording songs I've written in my weekly songwriting group. The prompt for this one was "I like", and I had an hour to write it. Enjoy!

An old song I wrote ages ago basically about the mixed feelings that can come with unexpectedly running into someone from your past. It's a rough one take demo which I meant to redo but several years on I still haven't so might as well share as is even though the accidental "maywe be" bit always does my head in :)

Listen to the song and the lyrics to find out what this is all about. We've all been there. We've all come across these people. This song was inspired by one so called 'friend's' bitter betrayal, but it could apply to so many people I've met down the years. Do yourself a favour and root them out as soon as you find them. I'm just holding up a mirror, if you don't like what you see....then look away....as the song says 'I've washed my hands of you..' and YES it's SUPPOSED to be Dylansque, although I had a cold when recording it. Demo version of one of my new songs

Born in 1967 in London to a French Mother and Indian Father, I started learning guitar in 2016, and soon found i had a few songs in my head that needed to be explored ! So I am now on a journey of trying to play well enough to record a few of them before i run out of time 😂
